Leading such a busy life, I wanted to escape to Southern Italy to look into purchasing a property. It was important for me to have somebody who is experienced, patient and knowledgeable of the region. I needed to maximize my weekend there to explore the areas. I am very fortunate to have found Apulia Slow Travel! Having traveled the world I can tell you that this company is in a league of its own. The itinerary was curated to my specific needs and interests. Michele was very knowledgeable, kind and clearly passionate about what he does. The experience left me feeling informed, calm, and welcomed! Michele’s partner Mauro and their assistant Emily also contributed to my seamless experience. Well done! I will be back. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour group.

We are a couple in our mid 60's and are seasoned travelers but need help arranging drivers, activities....I reached out to several bespoke luxury companies and Apulia was the most responsive. I worked with Emma and she was simply amazing. She really listened to what I wanted and created unique experiences that I was looking for. Nothing was too much and I made lots of revisions and changes while in Puglia. We were there for 15 days and our drivers were always on time with spotless vehicles. Please note that the drivers do not speak much English but with google translator, it wasn't an issue. Our favorite driver was Maurizio and would request him again. He was so kind and made sure we knew where we were going.
We were also lucky to have Michele for one day and he is an amazing guide and person. Michele went above and beyond for assistance when my husband became ill and took him to the doctor and also to the pharmacy to get the medication as needed. Am forever grateful for his help during this scary situation.
Emma also made great recommendations for restaurants and booked everything for us. She also suggested the perfect accommodations for us. Listen to her recommendations. The new Bra Hotel in Bari was excellent and I have written a separate review for our accommodations along with the restaurants. We were very fortunate to get to meet Emma and she is even lovelier in person.
We did the typical excursions/towns but some of the more unique experiences were the perfume experience in Martina Franco, and the Foundazione Le Constantino where Dior had them do their 2022 line. Do not miss going to Trani as we loved the seacoast vibe. Trani felt much more authentic and less touristy than Monopoli. Will be writing a review on Puglia.
I will be telling all my friends about Apulia Slow Travel and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we get back to the area.

We just returned from 10 days in Puglia and can't say enough good things about working with Apulia Slow Travel! We were a family of 5 adults. I had already booked our accommodations for our time in Puglia but contacted Apulia Slow Travel to help with itinerary details/driver/guides/activities, etc. I worked with Emma and just told her where we were staying and when, what types of things we like to do and she put together an amazing 10 day itinerary for us with amazing drivers, guides, etc.
We did a boat tour to the caves off of Polignano a mare, guides to many of the towns, visit and lunch to a dairy farm and their wonderful cheese making operations, amazing wine tasting and lunch to a local winery, bike ride through the val d'itria, and the absolute star of the show - a market visit and cooking class with Livio! Emma was always quick to respond, extremely helpful with recommendations for meals and making some dinner reservations for us. All of our guides were great, communicative and on time. We had a few drivers who were all great, but we had Domenico for the bulk of our trip and we loved him!
Emma and the Apulia Slow Travel team made the planning process so easy, I cannot recommend them highly enough, whether you are looking for an activity or tour for just one day, or a well curated multiple day trip as we did.

A 5 stars review is really too weak. They deserve a big 10 stars review.
Like their website mentions: They made me fall in love with Apulia. Such a beautiful region still not too much damaged by the real estate promoters. I hope it stays that way.
The whole team at "Apulia Slow Travel" was fantastic, efficient, responsive and always available to help you with a big smile. I wanted a customized trip because I was on my own and the itinerary was just perfect for me. They really listened to what you are looking for and set up a wonderful itinerary with extras suggestions on the way.
I have to give a very special thank to Emma who was my primary contact the entire time. Always available and responsive even on weekends even in case of emergency. Their guides & drivers were always on time and were perfect. Their hotel suggestions and tour ideas were according to your budget and wishes.
Now I am back home in California and I am constantly thinking about my stay in Apulia and the good time I had. I certainly will be back and certainly will ask Apulia Slow Travel to take care of my 2nd stay in the region. .

Our experience with Apulia Slow Travel was outstanding from the very start! Communication was easy, responses prompt and Michele worked to meet our specific needs so perfectly! Our day was tailored for us, including a “wine tasting & lunch”. We didn’t know what to expect, but our time at the Elena Fucci Azienda Agricola was one of the top experiences of the past 3 weeks! You just have to visit to appreciate what Elena is doing for the environment, her community and the world of wine. Our driver through Apulia Slow Travel, Pietro, was also fabulous. His Mercedes van was spotless, stocked with plenty of water and we felt in very safe driving hands. All is all a total 5-star experience!!

Emma did an incredible job of organising a tailor made trip for us.
Our drivers were accommodating and polite and the comfortable Mercedes cars were a treat.

A group of eight (mainly seniors) visited Puglia from Hungary. Michele showed us everythig that was possible, and told us all the stroies, historical and cultural details about the splendid places we've visited. He helped us every way and added a lot to the tour program.

Experience an authentic Puglian experience with Michele. His tour of Lecce and a cheese farm in Ostuni were fabulous. We really enjoyed the artisanal cheese farm experience, we were shown how the cheese is hand made everyday and enjoyed a delicious Pinic after. Michele also gave us superb recommendations to another artisanal olive farm and local lunch at Polignano a mare. What we really appreciated was how flexible he was. We had experienced a flat tire the day before and he was happy to drop us off at Brindisi for a short tour (unplannned) and then at the airport to pick up another rental car. Thank you for hosting us so well!

Such a wonderful experience for myself and my two friends (female ages 28-31). We had Michele & Domenico and both were so kind and knowledgeable.

That is up to you. We had Petro very nice man & we gave him a bottle of his favourite wine when we visited a winery that he took us too.
