Seahorse Divers Unawatuna

Went snorkeling and a beginner scuba diving lesson with Seahorse Divers. They were extremely helpful, friendly and very safe for beginner scuba diving. We each had an individual instructor for shallow water training and whilst diving. We had an amazing time. Saw fantastic tropical fish and explored a shipwreck!

Отличные ребята. Я ранее погружался с инструктором в Египте, но это было 4 года назад и у меня был страх, что я забыл некоторые моменты, но короткий инструктаж на берегу и все ок. По сравнению с Красным морем, тут оно "беднее", но тем не менее я видел ската, морскую звезду и рыб от мало до велика. А также затонувший корабль, статую, затонувший байк))) и не понятные емкости... вообщем и целом понравилось. Цена у меня была 50 долларов в марте, хотя предыдущий отзыв за февраль пишет 25 евро((( Все равно оно того стоит!
P.S. погружались втроем - я и парень с девушкой. Парень сделал девушке предложение при погружение))) романтик вообщем))) молодцы

Excellent dive centre!

Great dive centre with experienced and helpful staff. All safety proceedures explained and followed very well. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I wanted to do a wreck dive and night dive while I'm here and they made sure I could fit those in to my short visit to Sri Lanka. Small groups per boat. Excellent experience.

Interesting wreck dive with highly rated dive centre

There are three main locations for scuba diving on south coast at Hikkadawa Unuwatuna and Tangalle and I was fortunate to dive in all three locations in February.
There are a number of dive centres in Unawatuna and it can be quite difficult to make the right choice to suit your needs.It is apparent from the recent reviews that this is a highly rated dive centre whose standards have been maintained rigorously in spite of recent challenging times and its impact on tourism
You arrive at 0830 hrs at the dive centre - very modern with a selection of well maintained up to date equipment.It was reassuring that there was the normal checks including your dive history and the presentation of your dive log book
Rohana,who overseers the dive centre,is a recognised PADI dive master,as are a number of his
colleagues
It was €25 for one dive and all the equipment which is very reasonable for an off shore boat dive.We were a group of two advanced open water divers and were joined by a dive master and an instructor.The dive site is the wreck of a sunken cargo vessel Tango from 1866.There was a briefing as one would expect about the location of the wreck dive, the configuration of the wreck and a dive plan then you walk a few minutes from the dive centre to the beach and you enter the boat direct from the beach.
Under water visibilty is affected here as numerous muddy rivers drain into this southern coast location.There were a number of different shoals of fish including batfish.There was a singular large porcupine (see images).There was 5-7 m slightly murky visibility at a maximum depth of 25 metres
A thankyou to Rohana - friendly and welcoming.He puts you at ease with his relaxed demeanour but that does not detract from his professionalism

Команда see horse подарила нам незабываемые впечатления. Все дайвы проходят небольшими группами под чутким наблюдением очень опытных и улыбчивых мастеров и команды. Особенно радует цена - всего 25 евро. Больше всего нас впечатлил затонувший корабль. Рыб там больше , чем корабля. Очень советую там побывать ! Спасибо ребятам ! Из-за них мы в восторге от Унаватуны❤️

Nice place to get the first scuba diving experience. Staff is friendly and they provide a guide for each individual.
Not sure they clean the mouth piece after each use.

Sea Horse is the best dive center I ever dived with.
The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They really take good care of you and easily solved some special requests I had.
I made more dives than I had planned, cause I had such a fun time with the complete team.
Thank you for the amazing time and experience!

I went on a solo diving experience with Sea Horse Diving Resort in Unawatuna. Even though I planned this suddenly, I was able to schedule a session the very next morning, which I loved by the way for a morning dive. (Always wanted to get that experience) They deserve 5 stars and the recommendations. Because they do their job perfectly and they let you love scuba diving more and more. They have an amazing staff, professional, full of fun and positive vibes. The experience was great, even though I was somewhat freaked out (first time), the instructor was super great and patient. They are super professional and clearly know what they are doing. Thank you so much. I will be diving again with them in the future soon. I would like to say thank you to all of the staff members; I’m very grateful.

Very precise, attentive and nice crew. If you dive here, just go there and enjoy nice dive sites and being safe!

Best experience ever regarding dive centers. People are professional, friendly and well prepared. They check your skills and the equipments continuously, even when you are not aware. Choose them if you go to Unawatuna! You will feel safe and amazed by the sites they show you!
