I am a lover of wines and very much enjoyed my visit to the Marzolf Vineyard. Although I too am a Marzolf, Carmen (who is a master of her husbands lineage) assured me that my family descended from the Strasbourg area. Subsequent research proved her correct! The wine was superb and reflected the region well. The intimate tasting room was very personal and our tour of the winery was instructive and interesting. Their wine and the visit is a true reflection of old world Alsace. Even if your name is not Marzolf, you will enjoy your stop at this vineyard.
