Just seems different boat trips reviewed here.
We rode with caotain Jiannis a nice captain with his own style. A bit like Captain Haddock in Tintin 😀.
This trip was on an older blue wooden boat with Jiannis and possibly wife, then two more members on the boat.
A nice boat trip of about an hour.
Clear fine water if a little windy at first.
Jiannis amused those of us who went with him.
Maybe should replace the speaker system on the boat, because there was not much heard.
The island where we arrived had a secluded beach with sunbeds that might have been updated 😀.
Charming anyway in some way.
Sun and bath for 2 hours, then it was barbecue lunch that the crew arranged.
A small tavern almost at the top of the island.
A bit steep if you are older or difficult to walk.
There were possibilities for being pushed by tractor up.
After lunch we had about 1.5 hours of bathing and then we went home. On the way home, a bathing peak of 20 minutes. The water was incredibly clear.
Some fruit and vegetables and wine were served to them on the way home.
Can highly recommend this tour.👍🏻🥂🍾🍻

We did the relaxing full day boat trip to Megali Lanka beach with our adult children and their partners. We had a great time. We first stopped at Posidonio Bay for a lovely 30 minute swim off the boat on the way. We then arrived at the lovely little Megali Lanka bay which can only be reached by boat. Umbrellas and lounges were available for all. We swam, sunbaked and relaxed before enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch cooked by the crew, under some shady trees. The crew also served fruit and juice on the trip. Coffees, soft drinks, beer and snacks are available for purchase. The boat is large and can carry around 50 passengers

Exceeded our expectations of the boat trips. We paid 45€ per person and felt that we still got value for money.
The co-captain informed us nicely of which day we should show up to have a less packed experience people wise.
The food was good but soft drinks or water was not included in the price, but had to be bought rather expensively. It didn’t seem that the crew minded that we brought our own drinks and snacks, so I would recommend that.
Would not recommend for elderly or mobilty impaired as the Thursday route included walking on a path with uneven rocks.

Excursion is beautiful. Crystal clear sea, great bays, great barbecue. But don't book a trip on a crowded boat, don't squeeze into a nutshell with 60 people, book a smaller boat with a maximum of 10 people. From the captain we saw something briefly at the barbecue, but is not important. The boat trip is wonderful, the captain reminded us of a galley owner. You don't have to yell at a tour group like a flock of sheep. Surely it is hard to maintain 60 tours safely. Our zenith had passed when, on the 1st, Beach a fidgety man came and held a guard clip under our noses and charged fees. When we were chased away again by English from sunroofs, this made the trip very messy.

Our Best recommendation to the trips on this boat.
Two times have we spend a full day with the serviceminded staff, the lovely beach and the fanboulos water (good for snorkeling)
A nice barbecue lunch, the fish is so fresh, fruits and drink on board.
We Are looking forward to come back.

Excellent trip with captain Yiannis and co-captain Stamatis. They took us on a great boat ride between Greece and Turkey with amazing views. After about 1,5 hours there was a 30 minute stop to swim in the crystal clear waters next to a little town. After that we continued to a private beach where we could swim and have a great BBQ lunch. Delicious food and stunning views. After that we got back on to boat to return to Pythagorio harbour. Various snacks and drinks were available on the boat and they even surprised us with some complementary local watermelon and wine. Overal a great experience, definetly a must do when on Samos!

Our experience with Yiannis (the legendary captain) and the crew exceeded all of our expectations! While sailing out of Pytagorion Yiannis blew his seashell horn and the crew served delicious wine, juice and snacks.
During our 1h trip to Samopuoli Captain Yiannis made several jokes while providing useful information about the surrounding islands and coast. Very informative and entertaining! Also his ship had a toilet!
While on the island of Samopouli we were escorted to a beautiful and pristine beach. There to help were local legend Spyro who provided cold drinks and sun beds.
While us guests relaxed, the captain himself, now styling himself ”The Grillfather”, a playful nod toward Francis Ford Coppolas 1972 classic, prepared three separete dishes consisting of fish, grilled meat and a delightful vegan ragu. These different foods where serves alongside a simple greek sallad and a lovely potato sallad and tzatziki.
After the meal Captain Jiannis displayed his humourous side alongside his sidekick.
On our way back to Pytagorion we stopped for an adventurous swim and were of course served more tasty snacks and wine.
We would highly recommend this trip and we can honestly say that this trip was the highlight of our time in Pytagorion. The crew are generous, helpful and eager to provide an adventurous and special day for the passengers on Agia Irini.

The personnel had no interest in their guests. Very poor information on time schedule. The beach was not good, lot of stones in the sea bottom. Find a better path out in the sea ourselves to swim at end of stay. Needed to buy water, nothing more than small portion of lunch were included.

It was the best day of the whole holiday, during the trip drinks and snacks are offered, once you reach the island which is beautiful you can take a seat on the sunbeds for the modest sum of 4 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella, then you awaits the good and abundant lunch at 1pm which is served under a pergola, everyone is very kind, you can see the goats and donkeys, the whole experience is animated by the legendary captain Jannis who entertained and cheered us up the whole time , on the way back one more dive and Happy hour on the boat, highly recommended, an unforgettable day, seeing it for yourself!

Could you give me an idea of the boat trip costs and the average cost of a meal on Samos. Trying to budget for a future holiday there.

Hello!Samos is not very touristic that's why prices compared to other Greek islands are much cheaper.Last year drinks costed about 4-6EUR you could have a full meal with 10-12EUR and boat trips depending where you wanted to go prices start less than 30eur in somecases with meal included!
