Absolutely brilliant experience!
Successfully escaped ‘Exorcist’ with just me and my partner!
Fantastic service from the guy running it, can tell he’s very passionate about what he does! We’ll be back to do the other rooms for definite!
10/10 would recommend

Fantastic Family Experience

The exorcist was the first escape room we've done, we did this as a family and my 11year old daughter loved it. It wasn't too scary for her, she does like horror, but is still only a kid so it was perfectly pitch for her. I think they can adjust the atmosphere and scare levels for family's and teams and monitor throughout - so definitely in safe and considerate hands. The instructor was fab, helpful and playful too. It had some exciting and jumpy parts and surprises I hadn't expected. It was absolutely excellent, challenging puzzles to solve, witty and fun. It had us working together as a team and we all enjoyed it. We were all full of energy and happy when we left, pleased to have got out in time and talking over all the puzzles. I definitely recommend this and we plan to return to complete the other rooms. Wonderful!!

Fantastic escape rooms!

We were spending a weekend away as a family, and had decided to visit the imperial war museum in Manchester whilst away. Having my nearly 11 year old son in tow, I knew he would find it rather dull, so we wanted to combine it with something exciting for him to do on the day aswell. By chance, I came across this escape room online whilst searching for inspiration in the area, and it certainly did not disappoint! It was a fantastic first introduction to escape rooms for my son, not too scary, and whilst not easy, (we needed hints!) certainly not too difficult for him either. In fact, he managed to figure out some things us adults didn't!
The rooms themselves were visually great, with an eerie feel to them. The hosts were great,very friendly, very accommodating when we arrived abit early. The room kept us all very engaged from start to finish, and time flew by. Even though we had the full hour as only escaped with minutes to spare, we could happily have stayed longer and it was a shame it was over!
Also extremely reasonably priced compared to other rooms we have seen or visited, which in my book adds massive bonus points due to making it far more of a viable option for families. We live down south in Dorset, but if we happen to be up that way again, we will definitely pay another visit! Thankyou!

We had a group of 3 fifteen yr old there were many good scares and it wasn't too difficult very fun and scary! Would recommend for anyone including kids

Great activity to do with teens!!

We completed the exorcist room and it was excellent.

The whole experience from arriving to leaving was on point.

We had two 11 year olds and a 13 year old and they absolutely loved it!!

Our guide was excellent and he made the experience very special

There were several jump scares and we all had a brilliant time.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we can’t wait to go back !!

Great creepy fun!

Had a great time at Emergency Exit - the Dr Becker room was really creepy and I’m not usually scared! We were screaming throughout and the mystery was really well done - difficult but not frustrating. Lots of fun and highly recommend - hospitable and welcoming too :)

Escape room, solving puzzles in a horror setting to get out of the room

I took my daughter and 5 friends for her 14th birthday and although they were all a little apprehensive at first the Emergency Exit host ensured they absolutely loved their first escape room experience. They will be talking about it for weeks after, and I'm sure will be planning their next visit very soon. Hey I want a go next time.

Finally I made it to Ashton-under-Lyne to play emergency exit's rooms in person.
I played and loved all of them.. especially their newest room "Dr Becker" - although I am not a big horror-fan?! :)) But the great gamemaster knew how to make this a fun experience for everybody!
