Crooked dealings, wont return deposit, the manager Martyn is aJekel and Hyde, Arthur Daily charachter with no moral standing. Having asked return of deposit of that which he had no right to keep he point blank refused. Fortunately I was able to keep record of our conversational chat to hand over to my credit card company for them to retrieve payment. These people are shady and crooked and you will land yourself in trouble bringing yourself under this man personally to govern over the site, he takes issues personally and considers himself to be some kinda of puppet king ruler as far as I can see. The insurance is a holiday let insurance of 12mths and not a residential insurance and even so they will not allow you to rent out to people outside of your family and friends, and declare only residential are allowed. He claims the site is the bosses favourite what ever that means and sounded like some kinda mafia style hierarchy! Anyway regardless, it's something to ask about though whatever he may say I simply would not trust the guy, they are only after your money after all moto if you know what I mean... also be aware your resale will be next to nothing when you sell. If you decided to sell privately they put the site fees up to the buy by an extra £1000 and ask for 15% of what your selling the static for .. sad dealings be careful what you buy into its not as rosy as it sounds.. my advice don't do it!

This is a wonderful spot for a picnic and some peace and quiet. The views were stunning and the walks were endless. You’re free to go under a Victorian railway bridge or walk onto a field with the sheep grazing freely. It was a great couple hours and highly recommend it if you want to escape from reality. Parking is normally £1 but it is currently free because someone vandalised the payment machines. You can get a breakfast roll and a cup of tea at a reasonable price from Woodies. The lady who runs it is very cheerful and easy to talk to

Parking in the bull beck car park (grid ref 542649) in caton (where there is an amazing tea bar ) loos and free parking we followed the route from the web site: a path to somewhere. Who had a great map.
It's takes about 2 -3 hours when taking your time. You walk along the river line in among cattle woodland and a fast flowing river. There are some amazing bridges and it you like bird spotting it's fasinating. Even I (no twitching here) can spot a heron and a dove. As well as ducks and swans. If you visit late August early September then you can pick blackberries too.
Some of the bridges have water lines written from great floods not a good place to be in 2015! If you enlarge the picture you can see the flood line it's 15 foot from the ground.
The patches parts are great but Wellington's or walking shoes will save your footwear.
Really lovely to see the cattle who didn't bother us and we didn't bother them.

Great view over the Lune, gentle walks and a super little tea bar. Great stop off point with the dogs and kids to burn off some energy, just 5 mins from motorway and centre of Lancaster.

Crook O’Lune is a great place for a walk and a picnic. Wonderful view of the river and plenty of places to sit and enjoy a bite to eat. Lovely cafe on the car park serving bacon butties and drinks.
