The whole family loved this. Well thought-out facilities for all ages - good skatepark with bowl for the older kids, playground and toddler playground for the younger ones. Lots of open space for running about. Cafe was pleasant with friendly staff but would be nice to have more healthy snacks (eg milk, fruit) and meals for kids.

Overall, a great Community hub with a small, volunteer run tearoom upstairs.
Most things seem to be geared up for the ladies and it serves the Grannies or mums and toddlers very well. There is an evening 5 a-side for the men however.
There appears to be social events held every month and weekly club activities.
My only criticism is that it is not at all dog friendly (signs everywhere) and pooches are barred from the building and the outside grassed areas. This is a shame for such a rural community.

The centre cafe has a selection of drinks and snacks (sandwiches, panini's, chips, beans on toast etc). Everything is outstandingly cheap, and the service is great. There's also a lovely little playground next to it.

Ceilidh for a villager's birthday - kilts and frocks, trousers and skirts, kids and grannies, wheelchairs and zimmers, energetic and reticent, all joined in this gently friendly event that warms the heart - and exercises it! In the capable and amusing hands of our behatted caller, Francis, and a charming trio of musicians, we all shake a leg in a sort of unison - a right good night out in this great Community Centre!

I recently visited the café within the Centre @ Halton, I must admit with me being a local it was somewhere I had not visited before so I decided to call in to have lunch.
The Staff were very friendly and I was glad to see how everything was well presented.
I will certainly make a return visit to this café.

This is a great place to come whatever the weather! The outdoor playground is great and the cafe indoors has a toddler play area - perfect!

As someone who lives in halton i often take for granted that this is on our doorstep! there is something for everyone from a range of classes and a pre-school in the centre, a fabulous little coffee shop run by volunteers and thats as well as the large field, the playareas and the skate park.

The upper age for the indoor play area in the Coffee Shop is 7, but she would be fine to use both the outdoor play areas, with supervision and with your guidance.

The small children's play area within the Coffee Shop is intended for children and toddlers under 7 years of age. The outside play area, near the Centre building, is also intended for this younger age group.
