It's a beautiful spring. The water was so clear and blue it looked like a painting. There are parking spots around Blautopf. You can hike to caves from Blautopf.

Wer schon mal da ist, in Blaubeuren sollte sich den Blick in den Topf nicht entgehen lassen. Eindrucksvolles BLAU und auch eh ein nettes Städtchen.

Het kleine stadje ligt in een groene omgeving met veel wandelwegen. Het kleine blauwe meertje met de er naast gelegen oude smidse zijn de blikvanger van Blaubeuren. Een korte wandeling voert je door de binnenstad.

Diese Farben sind wirklich traumhaft. Natürlich lockt der Blautopf viele Besucher an; es kann auf dem Rundweg recht voll werden.

Uniek plaatsje dat zeker de moeite waard is om een korte stop te houden.
Wij hebben vanuit Blaubeuren de Old Historical Walk gevolgd. Deze wandeling is maar +- 1,5 Km maar brengt je echt wel langs de mooie plaatsen in Blaubeuren.

Zweitgrößter Quelltopf Deutschlands. Fast bei jedem Besuch in Blaubeuren besichtige ich den Blautopf.
Je nach Wetter und Schüttung sieht der Blau/Türkis/Grün anders aus. Da es sich um ein Quelltopf handelt kommt es bei stärkerem Regen ein paar Tage später natürlich zu einer bräunlichen Trübung.

Το Blautopf είναι μια όμορφη γαλάζια λίμνη μέσα στο δάσος. Αξίζει μια γρήγορη βόλτα με τα πόδια εάν είστε στην περιοχή σε συνδυασμό με το πανέμορφο Blaubeuren για καφεδάκι.

On a lovely day we visited Blautopf, which was on our bucket list. We could see the most incredible shades of blue and green colours. You can have a walk around the little lake and in the forest. It is really beautiful. If you are near to Stuttgart or Ulm then it is recommended to visit.

It is as blue as in the photos. Very quiet and very pretty, we will visit again one day. We didn't visit the visitor center or shop.

Es ist ein öffentlicher Weg, welcher um den Blautopf herumführt. Insofern sind Hunde an der Leine hier überhaupt kein Problem 😀

How far is it from train station? How can you reach there by public transport?
From the station to Blautopf it is about 1.5 km. There are a few irregular bus connections (lines 365 and 369) with a 15 minute drive. But it is much nicer to take a leisurely walk through the old town from Blaubeuren to the spring, for which one should plan about 25 minutes.
Is it easy to find and stroller friendly? Are dogs allowed to go into the water?
Yes, at the town of Blaubeuren. Strollers are OK...Also east to "stroll around" the grounds. I don't remember seeing any dogs. And certainly not in the water. see travelwithjan
