The highlight of my visit to Porto

I had a really wonderful experience with Onda Pura trying surfing for the first time in my life. Duarte, who was teaching me, was very nice and kind, as well as really good at explaining how to move and how to balance - as a result I managed to stand up (and even surf a tiny little bit!) several times during the lesson, what an amazing feeling! Unforgettable emotions and the highlight of my visit to Porto.

Want to try surfing? This is the spot !

Great vibe, very helpfull and friendly. My Son loved the lesson and found it challenging to catch a wave. I could see from the beach that the instructor was very helpfull and enthousiastic towards my Son If he catched a wave.

They will try to make your experience enjoyable

It is a bit crowded place but it depends on the season. I have really enjoyed help and knowledge that was given to me by instructor. It was my first time trying surfing so my recommendation is to book private lesson as I did.

Don't visit Porto without visiting Onda Pura

Onda Pura is the kind o surf school where if you go more than once, you start to feel like family. The instructors know excellent English (I need to learn Portuguese), and I always feel like I get personal attention in the group classes and learn something new. The beach is perfect for beginners learning to surf, and Onda Pura is conveniently located right on it, so there's no need to pack a board across the street. The equipment is in great condition, and you can tell the staff loves their jobs -- even in the height of summer! Definitely visit and take a lesson or rent from them if you're in Porto. But don't do it on your first day otherwise you'll cancel all your other Porto plans and just stay at Onda Pura! haha

A great morning

Me and my daughter went to a group surf class, and it was amazing. The experience and all the attention we have, the teacher and the effort for giving us the best moment, even if we always fall or miss the wave. Thanks, it will be something to repeat for sure😉
