Wednesday 26th August and we visited this small Church while exploring in Matala.
The Church, with its plain stone walls and red tiled arched roof, is located on the roadside by Matala Beach.
In front of the small altar was a wooden reredos (screen) which was adorned with numerous religious images.
A very ornate chandelier was a major feature in the Church.
More religious images and icons were to be seen on the walls and around the Church.
