Despite the very overcast weather, we had a pleasant experience ( circuit 3). While the fog did not allow us to admire the scenery completely, we had a GREAT guide on board. Maël knew how to explain the life of the gabarriers and his communicative enthusiasm, his knowledge allowed us not to regret the lack of visibility. We will come back under the sun to have another aspect of the ride

Very beautiful walk in Gabare with Antoine

We had a very nice experience with a Guide named Antoine who gave us very precise explanations while showing a lot of enthusiasm it was extremely pleasant

super nice gabaric ride as well as the Guide. pity we could not do the ride 1h30 for lack of water but the visit was very well commented

A walk of about an hour, in a friendly and informative atmosphere thanks to the Guide and his good knowledge of the history of the place.

Unprofessional and very unpleasant

Shame
We arrived at 5pm for a Check-out at 5pm
The barbarian was at the dock
They refused to let us go up supposedly full LOL
We go to the reception to explain our worries..they refuse to refund or postpone..and besides they laugh at us behind our backs..
The worst is that it was the boss!!
It was their direct competitors who attended who offered us a place the next day for FREE!!!
So stop believing everything tour guides say
The CAMINADE gabarians are much more pleasant and professional..and their guides are at the top

Beautiful walk, quiet and rewarding

A great experience, 50min walk with explanations about the Gabarians, the history of La Roque .. Our Guide Antoine was great, we loved his humor and his ability to maintain our attention. We recommend to anyone passing through this cultural and quiet break.
Reservation to be made on the internet in advance, everything is sold out almost 24 hours in advance!

A beautiful walk in gabare. Our Guide Tom was really great. We learn a lot about Périgord and the history of the Dordogne.
Anecdotes about gaffers are great.
It is better to book in advance.

Great ride

A quiet and informative walk that allows to see the river its history differently.
We took the 50 minute circuit and it was already good.

A pleasant break

Several circuits, we did the shortest because with 4 year old child but the main one is there.
History, the view , the pleasure of sailing between canoes and other boats.
Guide comments are relevant and complement the Audio Guide.
