Such a peaceful and beautiful site for a cementary. A quick walk from Gore Bay along the beach and winding up the hill. Well worth a visit.

Taking a walk along Gore Bay beach is interesting enough - sometimes you will encounter seals resting or discover other interesting things washed up on the beach. It is so secluded and peaceful that it is easy to spend far more time than you planned.
This visit I happened to notice a sign marking the track to the historic Jed Vale Cemetery. A few of the families still live in the area. The walk up was easy enough and gave a different view of Gore Bay. It didn't take more than 30 mins to get there.
