I wish I had heard of this fun event before now, I would have done it every year. Lovely cruise around the north end canals. Friendly staff and good value fun for all.

Fantastic Christmas lights adventure

We went on the Christmas lights cruise and we had a wonderful time. It was a crazy night with a charity event on at the same time and there were boats and people everywhere, but the staff were professional and heaps of fun. I’m sure the captain was sweating a bit with all those small boats around but you couldn’t tell. The atmosphere was excellent and the kids and adults were well looked after. It wasn’t too full so even though it was a sold out ride, we could see everything perfectly and never felt cramped. Definitely will go next year!

Wow! I would give this 6 out of 5 (at least) if I could. We did our first Christmas Lights Canal Cruise last year and it was good but our trip last night was amazing in comparison! Lights ... lights ... lights everywhere! The crew were amazing - geeing up everyone (Find the three big baubles! Find the rhinoceros! Find the dog stealing Santa's mail.) The Christmas music was upbeat and plentiful and the home-owners and other boaties were amazing - happy and having a wonderful time. We had arranged for the company to provide a platter - wonderful! We'll be doing this again next year! Loved it!

Christmas Lights Canal Cruise

A fantastic cruise. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly or soft drink. Bright happy staff. My 2nd time in two weeks. The first on the full moon, smooth water, such a fantastic cruise and the lights were amazing. Can recommend it for a wonderful night of lights and fun. Thank you to the wonderful staff. 🎄

What a great way to see the canal Christmas lights of Runaway Bay. Good music and do yourselves a favour and purchase the snack box amazing value. We will definitely do this cruise again.

Christmas lights canal cruise

What an amazing cruise! Four friends and I went on this 1.5 hour cruise along the Runaway Bay canals to see the Christmas lights. The staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient and were great with the kids on the cruise. And the Christmas lights along the canal…WOW! These were spectacular with so many houses lighting up their waterfronts. The cruise comes with a complimentary drink and the option of a cheese platter for two. Because there were five of us, we ordered two cheeses platters, thinking it probably wouldn’t be enough. Were we wrong! The cheese platter was magnificent and included cheeses, some fruit, some vegetables, dips, different sorts of crackers, poffertjes, deli meats and for Christmas, rum balls and mini Christmas puddings. Donna, one of the crew, put this amazing platter together and was responsible for the beautiful home cooked items. For the five of us, we only managed to get through one platter which was also our dinner…and had some leftovers. We took the second platter home to enjoy the next day. This was a truly wonderful cruise which put us in a very festive Christmas spirit.
