There are a number of these medium-sized parks on the Gold Coast, all offering different and interesting experiences. This one has an excellent children's playground and for the more mature amongst us an excellent walk along a boardwalk along between the river and the mangroves. Only about a kilometre up and a further km back. Very pleasant stroll on a sunny day. And like so many of these pocket parks it's accessible to the less physically abled which is a great feature. There is also a very sensible cafe near the children's playground for coffee or lunch before or after your exertions.

Currently the Palm Beach Parklands is undergoing a beautification process along the beachside which will make the parkland even more attractive to visitors. The maindraw card for our group was the Pirate Ship Playground and picnic/barbeque facilities. The parkland has a small beach which is perfect for young families, it is also popular to dog owners for the off-leash beach area, on the northern side of the large grassy field is a cafe, on the southern end of the parkland is access for walking through the Tarrabora and Beree Badalla Reserves which border onto the Currumbin Creek. On the day of our visit there was ample free off-street parking.

Parkland is near Palm Beach and has a small beach beside a creek where dogs may be set free from leashes to run, swim and enjoy themselves. Lots of joy there for children and dogs.

Lovely surprise of a park right here. A little hidden surprise. I have lived on the Gold Coast since the mid nineties and only discovered this beauty! A well maintained park right on Palm Beach. Lovely bbq facilities with a toilet for disabled persons. We took a path that lead us back to Palm Beach Avenue where the main shops are - fabulous!!

This parkland is located along Tallebudgera Creek.
There are some lovely spots to have a picnic while the kids either play in the park or paddle in the creek.

We didn't actually use the park but it was good to see so many families enjoying the area. We had coffee with friends in the cafe.

Lots of shade and amenities. Lagoon is great with stand up paddle boarding available. Also has a nice playground for the younger kids. Can do with more parking though. Will definitely visit again

Great park for kids to enjoy for hours. Very close to inlet so easy access to beach for a swim paddle. Safe beach protected from elements.

Although this park is best for kids (the pirate ship is awesome) the pathways from this park go all the way along the ocean to Kirra and beyond. There are always people riding bikes but the paths are so wide, you don’t feel unsafe. We love using this park as a base for our adventures

This is a great place for the family with children of any age to spend time playing amongst the pirate themed structures.
There is also an enclosed beach area with calm water for the young ones to play safely.
We will be heading back with the Grandchildren very soon!
