Outstanding experience. Easy walk on well defined path only a few 100 metres. And so worth it. Lovely rain forest environment and the waterfall and bridge are really something to appreciate. A must see if you are in the area.

Aussies really know how to do looking at and after their natural assets.
Despite it being New Years day, and therefore heaving with visitors this natural wonder really impressed.
We even managed to make out the lil bats and a few glow worms.
Free parking and access down a well maintained path.
A most enjoyable couple of hours, and despite the busy path the scrub turkeys were pretty tame.
Rudimentary toilets, but an excellect coffee shack.

It’s a nice easy walk down to the Natural Bridge and back. Heaps of people there yesterday and limited parking. We thought there might be somewhere to have a picnic but this area and the toilets were closed off, not that there were any tables to sit at. They had portable toilets which were filthy… go to see the bridge but don’t expect to be blown away by the surroundings..

Drove into Springbrook NP to visit Natural Bridge and didn't disappoint. A lovely walk through the forest with some amazing huge trees to see and then an amazing waterfall and swimming hole. You can do a loop which also takes you to the Glowworm cave where you get another view of the beautiful waterfall. Highly recommend anyone to stop and visit this gorgeous place

We went as it was getting dark/just after dark (6.30/7pm or so) ass at night there is a cave that is lit up with glowworms. These were really interesting to see, and you can also see them all around the walkways, not just in the caves. Really interesting to see, especially as it is free to enter and for those that might not have seen them before. The scenery is also nice if you visit in the daytime

A lovely walking track takes you around the park, and protects the environment. Plenty of parking and a nice drive en route.

A beautiful waterfall + glow worms + well laid walking path + free - what more could you ask for.
This is a beautiful place to go either during the day or at night. If you want to catch the glow worms, you'd obviously have to stay till it gets dark. The glow worms and the falls are a great sight after dark, but you'll have to contend with multiple tourists clicking pictures, throwing mobile phone flashlights etc which can spoil the fun for you

A place to be experienced. A great bush walk. An amazing collection of Hoop pine trees of various ages. A well kept track with stairs and hand rails. The loop is an easy walk with the calmness and serenity of the bush all around the walker. At the time we went the toilets weren’t in operation

It’s a wonderful place to visit. Lots of rainforest, tall trees and a beautiful river. You can see micro bats in the cave where the river runs through, which is its namesake, Natural Bridge. It’s an easy walk, with some stairs. Unfortunately no wheelchair access. In wet weather there was quite a bit of water over the path. They are building new toilets. We went on a super wet day and a also a sunny day the week before.

Hi!
My husband I are planning a trip to Gold Coast early July. We would like to visit Natural Bridge for glow worms. As my husband wants to drink at night, we think of going there before dawn. My questions are:
1 Are there many glow worms in winter? (Is the view still fastinating?)
2 Can we enjoy glow worms before dawn (until sunrise)? All the tours and self-driving visitors go there in the evening. I am afraid they won't glow early in the morning OR the car park is closed then.
3 Is driving to Natural Bridge is safe? I hear that there are no street lights on the road to reach there. Are there any possibilities that Kangaroos or any big animals cross the road and hit my car??

Yes there are no street lights, and yes it's rural Au. so a narrow and twisty road but Aussie drivers touring tend to be a forgiving bunch, so take your time and you'll be fine.

This place is always open as there is no gate there. It is safe but you must walk up and down the stairs to get to the bridge. We went when it was a little wet but the path was still safe to walk on even at night. Take a torch to see where you are going if you go to see the glow worms at night
Hi - just wondering if you can see the glow worms for free? Do you need to pay to go onto one of the tours or can you just turn up and do it? And what time would you recommend going?

Hi, is the path to the glow worms steep, or relatively flat as I will have someone with me who has difficulty walking too far. Also, are the glow worms visible through the day?

Sorry for the delay in responding. The glow worms can’t be seen dyeing the day. The walk is comfortable and there is no pressure to rush. There are some steps and uneven ground but as long as everyone takes care and watches their step you will be fine. I’m a pensioner and I was ok. Hope you enjoy the visit

What time of day is the best to visit? I prefer a time with less people. Don't mind getting there early.

Channy, I was back there from Sydney three days ago. Earlier in the morning would be best. I was there about 0830 and visitors were there but not many. I also walked down to the base of Purlingbrook Falls early starting at 0730 and there was no-one there at all. Passed a few heading down on my way back but none there. It was beautiful with the cool of the morning. Cheers Pete

The drive is about 55 minutes according to google maps. I used google maps it's on Bakers Rd Springbrook. Once you get there just follow the signs

We will be camping at settlement soon just wondering if anyone has camped in spots 6 and 7. we are after how big the camp sites are. Would a 6x3 Gazebo fit with a pod on the side. Also the camp kitchen is there a power point there? Any Help very much appreciated. Thanks

Natural Bridge is a day tripper's paradise. There's picnic a area but from what I saw there's nowhere for camping at Natural Bridge.

Could you go the this in a manual wheelchair? I really want to go for my kids but not sure it will be accessible. I can walk a few steps but for distance need the chair.

Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access as there are several stairs along the walk to navigate.
