There a few hikes in the area which are a range of difficult levels. The picnic tables are cleanish but I’d bring something to clean them with. Lots of bush turkeys.

Actually I was expecting a much nicer picnic grounds than what is the Tallanbana Picnic Area. The grounds are small, no views, filtered sunlight, it was freezing cold and windy on this September afternoon, the wooden picnic tables were weathered, moist and dirty not suitable for sitting at. Toilet facilites are a short walk away from the grounds, there was one covered picinc area also. The picnic area is tucked in behind the bushes just off the road. The best feature of the grounds is this is the start of the Twin Falls walk, an easy walk for most.

Not the best picnic spot in National Park, but still well worth a look. Short walk (5 mins) to creek and lookout. Features toilets near entrance as well
