A not to miss opportunity to get up close to these amazing creatures,highly recommended.If you have children there is a wee lagoon to swim in while you are waiting for the feeding to begin or have a bite to eat etc at the Grand hotel opposite

Undoubtedly the number-1 place to see Pelicans and take unforgettable pictures with them.
Pity about the quality of the fish served at the fish shop their - just not that good at all! Time for them to raise their game!

Friends visiting from Melbourne so went to see the pelicans being fed by the staff of Charis' seafood. We all loved it. Great way to dispose of seafood waste.

Fun for the locals, families and people visiting the area the kids absolutely love it . Daily the pelicans get a good feed thanks to the seafood shop and there are so many birds that love to come for their daily feed, the pelicans are very big but very gentle so your able to get pretty close to them.
Its also a nice place for a swim and some lunch at the park , the broad water has stunning views its very relaxing and the fish and chips is the best at the Charis Seafoods.

When you are in Gold coast, there are two activities MUST_TO_DO for all age groups, one is pelican feeding and another is visit to Glow worm cave. You need to reach at least an hour in advance to get proper seating on steps. Do not forget to carry cap and water with you as sun can be sometimes scorching. Always keep a passage for the birds to fly in and fly out. Do not wear flashy cloths which can distract the birds. Enjoy the experience

An awesome experience! AMAZING! Beautiful creatures too! Charis Seafood provides the food for the pelikans. Be there early to enjoy the beach and fish and chips.

We took some new NZ friends here, would highly recommend! One by one, then 10 by 10 the pelicans arrive for their lunch! A great spot for little kids to have a swim and a play in the sand. It has a lovely playground too although our kids didn't go there, because seeing the pelicans was definitely the main attraction for us.

A real treat to visit the park and see the pelicans getting fed, lovely location but it gets crowded, nab a bench seat right across from Charlis fish and chip shop

Geht pünktlich um 13.30 Uhr los, also rechtzeitig da sein, eher früher.
Die Pelikane bekommen die Fischstücke, die frisch aus dem Restaurant übrig sind, nachdem die Filets entfernt wurden.
Schön auch für Kinder, da Badebereich ideal.
