Whether you want local chocolates and spreads or cool floral half sleeved shirts , Casablanca is a great place to shop.
They also have a wide variety of Int’l perfumes like Boss, Caroline Herrera etc
Also, the heritage & vintage look of the place is something to look forward to.
Don’t miss visiting Casablanca once you’re in Pondicherry.

Don’t get fooled by its outer appearance. We entered with much skepticism but once inside, I was completely impressed. This happens to be a 24 year old mall and it is owned by the same person who brought us Hidesign. With marble flooring and wooden stairs, this places gives an old French aesthetic look. It is very encouraging to learn that they promote a lot of local products. There are discounts too on certain products. Do check out the organic products, ceramics, and quirky postcards all produced by the locals. A great place to shop for some quality products.

I had heard so much about this place. On this second visit to Pondi, I thought I might as well check this place out. Disappointing well, but why?
1. Branded stuff and of things of Pondicherry- limited collection
2. I live in Delhi. I just came back from Pondi and was sad about why I had to come back. This lessened that sadness a bit: I had bought 2 bottles of Gulabs Chilli Khus syrup. When I just opened the pack, I found Pudina.
If you do decide to visit them, check your bags when you pay. Besides, it could be expired. Check out the picture. Is it 3018 or 2019? or 2010?

i had been to this 5-6 years ago and i was in awe of their collection! They had unique products...collectibles...pure cotton gowns...souvenirs and much more. So this time i eagerly took my family to show them this place, it was an utter disappointment! Everything has been replaced by branded stuff which you could buy in any other shop. Its just another gift shop now. SKIP IT!!

Classy shop with high end products meant. Had taken my daughter to buy a nail polish - have chambor and Colobar brands.
Went around the shop. They have mens’ Shoes, shirts, trousers, women garments, etc., prices meant for affluent visiting population, locals hardly seen here.
Accept credit cards, I used Amex.

It is a while since I was here, but back then the story was great for high-end quality goods with a European touch. I would not say it is representative for Indian design and artifacts, perhaps more a mixture of this and modern global design. Their Hi-design purses are very well made. I also bought a silk dress which is timeless. But as a tourist, it may be more worth supporting smaller local businesses.

We were able to pick up some great souvenirs and books. This is a multi-storied shop and they had pretty much everything we needed.

It is a waste of time . It is basically overrated and overpriced. A better place to buy souvenir is from Auro in Promenade beach area.

This store which used to be a landmark, like a mini mall, but now carries the burden of being a boutique store sans novelty. On my second visit there I saw it all run down with not so friendly staff at some counters, old products, and confused display. Juat go to the second floor and you can find nice hand made pottery , candles and essential oils, however do not go overboard as everything is steeply priced and you may find not so unique stuff at other shops at better prices. Most other things are not worth buying. For one most other things like home linen,bags etc look like export rejects! It is a pity to see the store hasn't evolved with time. The mix is skus is very poor. The store has so much potential, they could start with opening a coffee shop within the store and host some more new handicrafts. Despite the poor selections of items, the store is worth one first visit since its an old store in pondi and you may still find some cute little thing that catches your fancy.
