Great place to stop when traveling highway 16. Nice short hike. Bikes and helmets are available to borrow as are peddle boats on the pond.

It is a big park for a small town like Vegreville. The sign of Vegreville is located here. There is a big pond, campground, tourist information and the most famous is the Pysanka Egg. After seeing the egg, we took a short walk near the pond. Benches, a gazebo and also picnic area with barbeque, a train wagon, kids playground are in the park.

A pleasant enough park to stop in if you are passing through. But once you have seen the egg there is not a lot else there.

This is a great walk, lots to see , baby geese, birds singing. Lots of play structure's for kids, to play on.

We first saw the elk, surrounded by flowers. It was not a real elk.
We saw an old train as well and lots of picnic tables and lots of trees.
There was a shelter and a stained glass window.
The pond was gorgeous!
Worthwhile to see!
