This is a worth wile stop. There is a lot of history behind the Pysanka Egg. It is truly an impressive work of art. The egg is driven by wind power alone.

A lovely place to stop for a rest and view the Pysanka Egg. The giant Egg is balanced in a way that it moves with the wind. Very interesting background/history which is detailed in the plaques. Definitely worth the visit

A definite must see if anywhere near Vegreville AB. Impressed that the Easter egg is so well balanced that it turns with the wind.

This is a must see if you're in the area. A very impressive "big thing" with plaques for how it was built etc.

There are so many weird and wonderful objects in small towns and Vegreville’s giant Pysanka is worth a short detour off the highway to see. Be sure to read the signage for the symbolism of the different shapes on the egg.

In de Oekrainse cultuur spelen versierde (kunst) eieren een belangrijke rol. Om dat te markeren hebben de van oorsprong Oekrainse bevolking van Vegreville dit reuzen ei laten maken. Leuk om even langs te rijden en een foto te maken.

Wow!, it's quite impressive!. One more weird thing added to my photo collection. The giant Pysanka egg is a bit spinning when the wind blows. It's a symbol of early Ukrainian settlements east of Edmonton, Alberta. The information board is worth reading
