The roads leading to the museum are not good with lots of road works and flyover construction going on but inside the museum is maintained well. There was literally no one when we went in here with family including kids. Entrance ticket cost Rs 25 for adults and 10 for children with similar additional charges if opting for the toy train. Its a nice park good for kids to know more about narrow gauge and see how railways have evolved over time. There was hardly any staff or those that were these seemed disinterested. We had to ask twice for toy train and they kept delaying saying they were calling the driver and no one was coming, Finally the person sitting in the ticket counter came in and took us in the train which was a quick fun ride. May not be something that a tourist would go on a first visit like we went in but definitely an attraction that can be better publicized.

After Delhi’s National Rail Museum, it has some good collections of Train Models and information about railways. Inside the complex they have also maintained good structures and models of different types of trains.

Beautiful attraction. Not very crowded so quite peaceful . Entrance is cheap about Rs25. For another Rs25 one could have a small train ride. Neat and tide and fairly well maintained

it has the possibility to be a great little museum if only it had some more exhibits. The ones they have you can't go in or even look in, which is disappointing. Although you can stand on the foot plate of a steam and diesel loco.
For foreign visitors there needs to be more signage in English and somewhere were you can buy water!

I went to Narrow Gauge Rail Museum. The museum has models and lookalikes of locomotives, trains, steam engines and the like. Besides, the premises also have an amusement park, toy trains and swings for kids. It is great place to go.

The museum displays all activities and equipment related to narrow gauge rail. there is a historic steam engine in which u can actually climb in and see d engine. well maintained. circular train ride for kids
