The only difference is that sometimes in the afternoon can be windy and more wavy, generally the morning is calmer. Hi, we would be happy to have you join us. The Riu Palace is about 2km down the coast from the Puerto Colón Marina. We are too small an organisation to qualify for the resort transport permits, so you would have to take a taxi (many are always waiting at the resort or the concierge can assist you - €5-8?) or if you have a car there are 2 parking lots right at the marina. Hello - we tend to go about 3km out to sea, where the Pilot whales usually are found. Motion sickness is always a possibility, although we find our smaller boat is better for guests that typically suffer from motion sickness as you feel the movement of the boat/ocean more directly as opposed to a larger wave cutting hull like a sailboat or catamaran. Either way, we suggest taking precautions, motion sickness medication takes at least 1 hour to be effective or pressure wrist bands. We would love to have you join us.

Hi, it depends a bit on what you want to see. In the morning the seas are usually calmest and so it is easiest to find the whales and dolphins. Therefore we typically see more animals. But the activity level of the animals can be calm. Mid day it is warmer, typically the medium level of sea conditions (wind and waves) and so there it can be a bit more challenging to see as many whales and dolphins (as the 9:30 tour) but the activity level of the cetaceans is typically higher. Afternoon tour is typically the roughest seas (if it is too rough we don't go out) and that makes it harder to find the whales and dolphins. So we often see the fewest number of whales and dolphins at this time. However, the animals we do find tend to be the most active at this time. I hope that helps. Overall we have a 99+% sightings record at all times, so it really depends on if you want calmer seas/animals or you don't mind wind/waves for the chance to see more active whales and dolphins.

Hi, there are 2 parking lots right at the marina. One is accessible just as you drive down the hill, the entrance is on your right. The other one is at the marina level, just as you arrive at the marina level. They charge €1.20 per hour.
