Toller Trip, gute Sicht von jedem Platz. Kleines Boot. Würde ich auch mehrmals machen. 3 Stunden fand ich persönlich optimal.

Excellent trip.
Theres not a lot to do in that part of Halkidiki and this trip broke up the week. And what a trip. The boat is comfortable. The views were fantastic. The crew even handed out binoculas. Overall fantastic value for money. Highly recommend it.

"Croisière" inintéressante... Attrape touristes... Le bateau navigue très à distance du littoral. Les monastères sont visibles de loin, jamais nommés, et le navire ne s'attarde pas...

Betrug! Finger weg!
Absolut nicht zu empfehlen und grenzt an Betrug! Angeboten wird die Fahrt mit angeblich deutscher Sprache. Dass während des Ausflugs über die Lautsprecher auch Erklärungen in anderen Sprachen zu hören sind, wussten wir.
Griechisch, Englisch, Dänisch (?).. nur kein Deutsch. Obwohl während der Buchung angegeben wurde, in welcher Sprache man hören will und wir nicht die einzigen Deutschen an Bord waren, fehlte leider komplett die deutsche Tonspur. Aufgrund der Lautstärke auf dem Schiff durch Motorenlärm und andere Fahrgäste und übersteuerte Lautsprecher waren die englischen Erläuterungen für uns leider auch kaum verständlich - trotz über 15 Jahren Schulenglisch und diversen Reisen im englischsprachigen Raum.
Der nächste negative Punkt waren die Sitzplätze: Da das Schiff nur einmal nah an den Klöstern vorbeifährt und auf dem Rückweg den direkten Weg Richtung Hafen einschlägt, sind Passagiere, welche auf der rechten Seite sitzen immer gezwungen aufzustehen um einen halbwegs vernünftigen Blick zu ergattern auf die Natur und die teils atemberaubenden Bauwerke. Wenn man dann noch das Pech hat, zwei griechische Familien an Bord zu haben, die das halbe untere Deck „okkupieren“ und es fast unmöglich machen Bilder von den Klöstern zu schießen, da niemand auf ihrer Seite an die Reling gelassen wurde, sind die Sitzplätze auf der rechten Seite doppelt bescheiden.
Alles in allem eine Frechheit, die unserer Meinung schon sehr an Betrug grenzt, wenn man die Tour als deutschsprachig anbietet, es aber keine deutsche Tonspur gibt. Ganz zu schweigen von den Ferngläsern - die bei TripAdvisor kostenlos für jeden Fahrgast angepriesen werden - welche natürlich auch nicht vorhanden sind.
Also Finger weg und bei einem der anderen Anbieter in Ouranoupolis buchen, in der Hoffnung dort ein besseres Erlebnis geboten zu bekommen!

Besatzung war nett, Schiff war jedoch super voll. Die Fahrt dauerte 4 Stunden wobei wir eine Stunde nur standen weil ein Mönch an Bord kam der Held einsammelte. Die Fahrt war einfach viel zu lang. Allerhöchstens 2 Stunden hätten gereicht. Spätestens auf der Rückfahrt hatte niemand mehr Lust und alle schliefen und langweilten sich. Ich würde keinen Urlaubstag mehr für diese Fahrt verschwenden.

Worth doing.

This tour is okay. The company collected us from out hotel, which was ideal. The boat trip itself was stunning. Loads of scenery, and we briefly saw some dolphins. The monasteries are fascinating, as it mount athos itself. It is a bilingual guided tour, so at some point throughout the trip, you'll hear some info about the monasteries in your language. Food and drink is available on the boat at an extra cost, and the boat does have toilets. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the staff let it down. Apart from the bus driver, they were all miserable, quite blunt. As if tourists are an inconvenience... Even though we pay their wages.. 🤔Someone asked the captain if he could close one of the sun canopies, to which he grunted and didn't do.
In general, not particularly hospitable. But this seems to common in this part of the world

I recommend the boat trip, but don't expect a welcoming smile from anyone.

The boat is large but not huge so you may want to board a little early to take the best seats(top). Make sure to have sunscreen and a good 🎥

Nice half day trip

Very interesting trip to an UNESCO site although it should be stated clearly that you will not going on-site, you will stay on the boat for the entire trip. The announcements vary in the different languages and are not very clear to hear.
A good proposal for changing a beach day but not recommended for families with small children

Croisière intéressante
La croisière de 3 heures est amplement suffisante. On s’approche assez prêt des monastères (400 m) pour bien les voir. Les explications données en plusieurs langues sont très confuses et différentes d’une langue a l’autre, il est préférable de consulter Wikipedia au cours de la croisière. Prévoir d’arriver en avance pour avoir les meilleures places, sur le pont supérieur à l’ombre.
