kann man sich getrost sparen, denn das hat nichts mehr mit einer Fischerinsel gemeinsam. Der Anblick vom See und das Panorama ist sehr schon, aber auf der Insel selber gibt es nichts sehenswertes. Absolut überlaufen, nur Restaurants oder Souvenierläden die das Bild verschandeln. sind so schnell wie möglich wieder weg..

L isola dei pescatori non è altro che un incontro di bar e ristoranti... Che ti spellano , quindi se volete potete evitare di andarci , nulla di caratteristico da vedere insomma

Visit Isola Bella and the palace in the morning then continue on to this island for lunch as it is known for its many restaurants. Do take the time to stroll around the island (it doesn't take long!) and its cobbled streets. Here you will see the two-storey houses have long balconies which were used to dry fish.

Abbiamo preso il biglietto del battello visto che andavamo all’isola bella. Nulla in confronto. Ci si può spendere 1-2h per aperitivo o pranzo/cena ma niente di più.

Abbiamo deciso di fare una piccola gita fuori Milano, così abbiamo optato per un pranzo in famiglia all’isola dei Pescatori.
L’isola si gira in meno di un’ora ha dei deliziosi vicoletti e una vista stupenda.
Da Stresa con la barca ci si mettono 5 minuti.
Assolutamente da provare

La mia preferita tra le isolee Borromee, a cui sono legato da ricordi stupendi. Visitata due volte ,una ad agosto in piena stagione qualche anno fa e l'ultima a capodanno nella tranquillità (e il freddo) più assoluti. Piccola e intima ha ristoranti con viste mozzafiato come solo il lago Maggiore può regalare. Cara? Forse un pochino ma in linea con tutta Stresa e le altre isole.

Visitata a fine Ottobre, forse abbagliato dalle bellezze di Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori non mi è piaciuta più di tanto, forse per il troppo affollamento, i pochissimi spazi il caos e la scarso organizzazione generale.
Diciamo che è un utile tappa per un veloce spuntino o pranzo nell'intervallo tra le visite delle altre isole Borromee.

Hi, My wife and I are planning to go to the Stresa region for a weekend from 2nd to 4th Oct. We were thinking of staying in Isola dei Pescatori. But we are not sure if shops / restaurants are open in these Corona times. Also, if it s a better idea to live in the mainland instead and just go for a visit to the island. We are looking for a rather peaceful, calm and quite trip with good food. Any suggestions from anyone who has recently been there would be super helpful :). Thanks!

Per pranzare, è obbligatorio andare su quest’isola oppure si può mangiare al sacco sulle altre? Nel caso, un posto dove mangiare a prezzi accessibili qui quale sarebbe?

Si può mangiare al sacco anche qui sulla isola dei pescatori, ci sono molti ristoranti di buona qualità con prezzi molto accessibili e si può scegliere con serenità dove fermarsi.

Assolutamente si, solo all'Isola Madre non possono nemmeno scendere dal battello; anche all'Isola Bella possono scendere, ma non entrare nel Giardino del Palazzo.

I would like to know of a great restaurant on Fishermen island for myself and 23 other guests. I will be in Italy the early part of September and would like to take my guests to dinner on Fishermen Island. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
earlier this year we brought a group to a lovely restaurant just across the docking area on Fishermans island.
We are now coming back with another group and would love to go to the same restaurant but cannot find the name and contact for it.
Is there a list of restaurants available somewhere online?
