Its a lovely place but needs a good update like Cala Longa has had,during the day the funfare looks dated but at night it looks a lot better,the glass bottom boat trip was cheep but very cheesy,the beach is quite small but the sea is clear and quite shallow till you get far out,take some bread and feed the fish

Very well looked after resort. Road sweeper etc out early.

The beach is located in Saint eulaliaIt surrounded by restaurants and beach bars and also near the Es Canar Ferry location.
The beach is sand and is kept quite clean. Parts of the beach though did have a lot of seaweed. We were here in July and we did find it cold to swim in.
The beach is lined with beach chairs which you can rent. In my opinion they are quite expensive. I believe we rented ours for 18€ each with the umbrella.
Overall this is a nice beach and nice location. We also recommend walking further along the beach around the cove and enjoying the seaside walk.

We visited the beach most days during our stay - it costs 18 euros for 2 sunbeds & a parasol. The beach isn't the best I've ever seen, lots of sharp pine needles & a lot of seaweed, can be quite choppy at times too.
There was a very eggy smell that kept wafting along the beach, presume it's the septic tanks or sewers but it's very unpleasant.
My son got stung by a jelly fish but the lifeguard was great, she took him to her supply cupboard & sprayed the sting for him & he was fine, but just be aware to keep your eyes open for jelly fish!

This is a lovely little beach town. The beach is good, with lots of restaurants around nearby.
There are peddle boats with slides, paddle boards etc to rent.
There are also plenty of shops with trinkets etc.

Una spiaggia che non ci ha emozionato tanto .
Qualche alga di troppo ad intralciare il nostro bagno ed il mare che non ci è apparso il top.
Nel contempo non mancano i ristoranti a prezzi salati.
Girando per Ibiza si trova sicuramente di meglio!

This bay is at the north of the island so if your looking to go clubbing - probably not for you! Easy reached by a group to San Antonio etc in a taxi for 50 Euros each way - but getting one back can be an issue. Currently a taxi shortage on the island so book or plan ahead and plan to not travel around. When we were there we were lucky but heard people not able to get a taxi to the airport even if they had booked. If you are lucky enough to get one all taxi drivers seem very pleasant and kind a run a great service. The beach itself is in a bay surrounded by restaurants and beach bars, so easy to get something to eat.
The beach is sand - but sadly not golden, it is however soft underfoot and their are showers at both ends of the beach - not great but do the job.
The guy that runs the water sports is very pleasant you can paddle board, paraglide, canoe and pedalo with slides.
Pedalo and paddle board are between 20 & 25 Euros per hour each.
There can be a few jellyfish but you can see them - there are plenty of fish and it is great for snorkelling - unless you require something specific there are plenty of shops selling snorkels and water shoes with in a 5 minute walk and right next to the beach , at these shops you can get everything you could require a supermarket is a couple of minutes walk as is a clothes and shoes outlet.
On this bay there is a glass bottom boat and the ferry pulls in here to get to Ibiza town etc ( all very close). People are often on this beach at dusk and there is always room and lots of loungers. People take everything from inflatables to beach tents and many women go topless.
Unless you are Infront of a beach bar and intend on purchasing drinks from there I would take water crisps snacks etc onto the beach with you as these cannot be purchased directly on the beach but can by the plenty in nearby shops.
There is a spectacular little bakery cafe on the corner near the ferry with lots of tasty treats pastry etc
The good thing about this beach is that you are only a walk or very short taxi from many other beaches and coves. The cove itself really does have a beach vibe and looks at times almost untouched, if you look at the sea a walk to the left you will come to the end of the beach with a wooden path that goes all the way around the coast like ( lovely at night to see the stars on a clear evening and some spectacular views!
If your wanting something loud and busy this place is not for you ( you won’t find beach parties here ).
There is a beach lounge on the corner of the cove with its own pools and beds for hire at 20-25 Euros a bed that could be considered a more lavish hang out for those that want a pool rather than the sea on the sea front.
In terms of food there is every type of food here from Argentinian to Spanish to Chinese to English cuisine plenty to choose from.
There is a small fairground at night for the kids with the Kentucky derby a favourite. Popeyes bar does a foam party on a Thursday and their is a little train that can take you to little coves and villages on a tour.
If your not looking to party until dawn this is the ideal part of ibiza to vacation in. St Eulalia 15 euro taxi each way , Ibiza town 40 euro each way San Antonio 50 each way , Portinax 35 euro each way.

Has anyone stayed at the Cala Martina Hotel all inclusive. We are booked here as our first try at All inclusive holiday and was wanting some reviews of the place. TIA.

No boat trips from es canar but if you travel you can
It’s very family friendly sure you will have a great holiday

Yes they start closing around 19/20th Oct, I was there until 12th this year and everything was open and really busy, plus great weather 👍🏼

Looking for information about Es Caná in October. If we go self-catering, are there enough amenities (shops/restaurants) open to make it worth our while? We go to Ibiza a lot and the smaller resorts seem to close down at the end of September. Is Es Caná any better? Thanks

Not been in October, but we found not too many restaurants in Es Cana,much prefer Santa Eulalia which is resort next to Es cana which does have a lot of restaurants and amenities, again not sure about October. Hope this helps.

What's the best all inclusive hotel to go to? Never been to es canar is it really quiet?
We are currently staying at Azuline Cala Martina and its absolutely brilliant. Its based in Punta Ariba (10 minute walk from Es cana) and would highly recommend it. It's not quiet but nothing like Sanantonio!

Lo siento pero estuve en marzo y aún no estaba abierto casi nada. De cualquier forma hay algunos comercios, super y como es lógico, restaurantes de todo tipo. La playa estaba aún sin montar....

I would say similar prices to uk, small local restaurants are cheaper for lunch.Marvents was our favourite place to eat in the evening, eat there twice , very popular & busy , & overlooking the sea, excellent food.
