I state that we visited Tellaro in mid-November, arriving on foot from Lerici
It 'a fraction of Lerici, very quiet, we crossed the village and went down to the Cheisa di S Giorgio (which is under renovation) and the sea. Very sunny and pleasant, it is the classic Ligurian village with many narrow lanes, staircase type. Surely in summer it is not as livable

Tellaro is a small fishing village, perched on a cliff at the edge of Liguria, where it almost borders Tuscany. It is listed as one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy"). We walked to Tellaro from Lerici, where we were staying. It's an easy walk ~ 3km by foot and 75 minutes one-way. Tellaro felt lost in time, and a sheer delight to explore. As per local folklore, a giant octopus rang the bell of the bright pink Chiesa di San Giorgio, to warn residents about a pirate attack ! There's even an Octopus Festival "Sagra del Polpo" held here in August!

small village very nice and cute to visit. many interesting views, clean and well maintained. of course it is very crowded on the weekend

We discovered Tellaro for the swimming competition (Trofeo der Gro) and we fell in love with it. The village is exceptional, characteristic and in every corner there is something surprising. We will certainly be returning again!

We had the Camilla
this was 2015!
2024 visited in March...nothing has changed
zero valorisation of the beautiful village if we got involved!!!!
dirty abandoned, but how is it possible that they were filming the village of villages with Camilla wandering around...but what did she see!...what did they film!! dilapidated streets, it's all a construction site, covered underpass of 70 MT, historic, unwatchable, a landfill of everything!! You get to the bottom and go back!!!! If it's private at this point, close it! ..at the marina 2 girls painting a railing..how sad!!historic washhouses? a horror!! the little road along the sea that goes towards Fiascherino is closed! If you don't want tourism, say so clearly and let's go somewhere else!!!! the people are kind, but I think that politics has understood nothing of the beauties of Tellero and the gulf of poets... Middle Ages! Not to mention the little beach of Fiascherino. Beautiful sea, beach with potential... the rest is a construction site and is dirty with a disarming sadness!
Go there and see a work in progress!
Western Liguria is another world.
I hope you find a policy that can make you resurrect.

Typical Ligurian village perched on the rocks. Its architecture is very suggestive between carrugi (narrow streets) and houses overlooking the sea with incredible views of the sea and the adjacent islands, Tino, Tinetto, La Palmaria, the Gulf of La Spezia and Portovenere. Visited in March, as in the summer it is practically impossible to find parking even if you pay for it in gold. The center is entirely pedestrian and apart from an initial section accessible by car only for residents, it couldn't be otherwise. Tellaro must be seen and experienced far from the crowds of tourists that besiege it in the summer. The beauty of these small towns lies in a mixture of smells, flavors and aromas, as well as sounds and colors and the dialect of the locals, where everyone knows each other and talks about vegetable gardens and fishing. The scent of the fish, the sea, the aromatic herbs that are used abundantly in the local cuisine, from pasta to herb pies and seafood dishes. I was struck by a typical fruit, vegetable and food shop located on the access road to the town. Struck by the inviting colors of the merchandise displayed outside, I found a very kind shopkeeper who not only packed a packed lunch with typical dishes (erbazzone, wholemeal focaccia, savory pie) but also provided information on how to visit the place. A branch of the tourist office (for the record Piccioli Leandro Alimentari). The views invite you to take great photos.

Beautiful seaside village near Lerici, beautiful views of the sea. In August there is the octopus festival not to be missed. Be careful not to enter the town by car...

Peccato per i pochi e lontani parcheggi!!! Davvero molto distanti e in salita...
Il borgo però è molto carino, si scende fino al mare....tante viette da scoprire... tipico borgo marinaro. Consiglio la visita se avete tempo a disposizione....

Tellaro una vera chicca ai confini della Liguria con la Toscana. Se si vuole assaporare il silenzio ,la tranquillità,la bellezza di un borgo marinaro Tellaro è il posto giusto.Molto bello perdersi nei suoi piccoli vicoli e risalire fino alla piazza principalr per scoprire una cornice stupenda sul porto di La Spezia.Molto bella la passeggiata sul mare.
