Beautiful typical Valtellina palace kept well with many frescoes and antique furniture to discover the Salis Family one of the most powerful in the area. Highly recommended.

Beautiful noble palace

The only noble palace that can be visited in Tirano, the renovation has also made it possible to visit the beautiful Italian garden.
The staff is prepared and available for any questions.

A wonder worth visiting

Palazzo Salis is a small jewel in the center of Tirano that surprised us with its wonders and its centennial history. Recommended the guided tour that also allowed my children to get interested in the history of the palace and Valtellina. The Italian garden is very well maintained.

Between trekking and the other .. cultural trip

Interesting visit. Free audio guide at the entrance and very welcoming and helpful staff to provide information and satisfy curiosity. I stayed with family and friends including 3 12-year-old girls who had fun. A nice interlude between one trek and another.

the palace is very interesting and well maintained - a gem are the fresh flowers in each room. the audio guide downloadable from the app is very valid; the advice from the staff at the ticket office was valuable

A hidden treasure chest in the heart of Tirano

Historic building furniture of rare beauty and very well preserved. Every room you walk through excites the eye, just look up to admire the beautiful ceilings and walls expertly decorated and in perfect condition. To complete the tour you are greeted by an Italian garden, collected but very pretty with a wide variety of flowers and in the middle a fountain.
The entrance fee costs € 9.00 and the entrance staff, very kind and competent, provides the visitor with a 'self-guide to visit Palazzo Salis independently. Recommended, those visiting Tirano should not miss it!

Amazing frescoes

We took the Bernina Express and stopped in Tirano. So glad we came here. The palazzo is beautiful. We really enjoyed the audio tour as well as the gardens. The frescoes were beautiful and the palazzo very well preserved. I highly recommend this sight.
