Easy to find and plenty of street parking. The churchyard is part cemetery and part green space, Sadly it was locked up so I could not go inside to see but it looked nice from the outside.

This quite large church is an impressive structure situated in a rather pleasant village green which is surrounded by an array of attractive cottages. The church yard is well kept and there are some interesting stones to find.
Of course I'd also like to be able to tell you all about the interior of the church but, alas, this isn't possible as it was locked. I wonder if this is a policy of the local diocese? Some strange and self-defeating concept designed to keep people out of churches perhaps? I ask the question because on this very pleasant day exploring the area, we visited (or tried to visit) the impressive churches in Snaith, Radcliffe and Goole and all were locked.
Sad really.

Very welcoming congregation. Attended Good Friday service which took place both inside church and outside where a huge cross had been erected.

Stopped off at Rawcliffe as we saw this lovely old church right in the centre of the village on the green built in 1842. You can walk all the way round the outside and it is set in its own churchyard. There is an information board giving details of things around the village including the church. We didn't get a chance to see inside as it was late in the day but will be back again so will stop by again.
