This small chapel reflects the austere nature of the town and it pared back decorations provide an intense atmosphere of spiritual calm and relaxation. The altar is beautifully done but not overwhelming and this is a welcoming thoughtful place. Enjoy, be still and ease into the atmosphere.

i went inside this beautiful chapel and was amazed ... it is stunning inside, and well worth a visit, im not a religious type but even i felt the need to stand a reflect the beauty of this place, the detail and colours are amazing and make sure you look up into the roof of the small bays depicting the scenes

Por lo que tengo entendido, es el santuario del patrón del pueblo. No es fácil de que puedas encontrarla abierta al publico, pero si tienes suerte, podrás disfrutar de un precioso santuario.

Preciosa capilla junto a la escuela as pías de aRCHiDoNa. Mucho cuidado con el horario, el que dan el la oficina de turismo no es muy fiable...

Es la iglesia de los escolapios de Archidona, luego instituto de bachillerato y ahora IES. Además de ser la capilla del patrón del pueblo "Jesús Nazareno", talla de un solo bloque siendo unos de dos cristos "de Mena".
Preciosa iglesia donde los monjes que habitaban el convento que ahora es el IES Luis Barahona de Soto, celebraban sus litúrgias.
Tanto el interior como la fachada es digna de visita y la cofradía que cuida del cristo es digna de respeto y admiración.
El jueves Santo es uno de los mejores días para ver procesionar su cristo y tanto la salida de la iglesia como la llegada es un espectáculo que no se debe perder.

Jesus Nazareno es bastante importante para los habitantes de Archidona ya que es su patrón. La capilla es muy bonita, tiene un altar de estilo rococo y merece la pena visitarla

The main altar has the Rococo style and contains the sculpture of Jesus Nazarene. The sculpture has been attributed to Diego de Vega and was sculpted in 1580. There is widespread devotion to this image of Christ. The chapel has a painting of the Virgen del Carmen, and another of San Juan Nepomuceno. Other artwork in the chapel are a painting of the Virgen de Gracia, a painting of the Apparition of the Virgin Mary to San Juan de la Cruz

Horario de visitas, ya que teniendo las buenas referencias que tiene, no veo el porque, tienen las visitas tan escasas, siendo un monumento del que se deberian de vanagloriar
