The pier has the SkyView, Bungy jump and Zip line at the very end. It has two levels: one sheltered from the winds and the top level exposed to the elements but from where you have great views of the beach and the sea.
There are cocktail bars and other food outlets lining the pier. Good place to hang out with friends or on your own. I can imagine it would get very busy during the evenings and night time.

Maybe not at its best off season. Rather run down like many piers in the UK. Nothing open. Fortunately loads of restaurants nearby

The Scheveningen pier is quite long and has two decks - one outside and one inside. Its clearly suffered from the impact of COVID and lots of the bars/shops have closed down and not reopened. Those that have are pleasant enough and prices are not out of the way. Shops are the usual array of seaside tat that you find the world over. Its a long walk to the end that takes you to the zipline, bungee jump and the wheel. There is also a hotel at the end which has restricted access to the large rotunda at the end for observation. Toilets are provided all the way along. At a euro a visit, it adds to the expense. Most of them accept contactless payment (unless the card machine isn't working) and they are at least clean and modern which helps. Its something to do if you are there but not one to head there especially for. Most bars open late morning/midday so being an early bird doesn't always benefit you here.

Hangt ook een gezellige sfeer....
Komen hier elk jaar tijdens het laatste weekend van maart en dit blijft genieten!!!

Sehr schöner Ort, keine Frage. Eine Traumkulisse mit viel Touri-Angeboten. 3* weil das Essen direkt im Restaurant an der Promenade eine Katastrophe war. Zu teuer, kein geschulter Service (nett aber leider keine Ahnung.) und geschmeckt hat es leider auch nicht. Am liebsten hätte ich es nicht bezahlt. :/
Mein Aufenthalt war ein kurzer Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise. Vorher schlau machen kann helfen. Bei mir war es eine Hau-Ruck Aktion mit „ich nehme mal das erstbeste Restaurant mit Blick auf Riesenrad und Bungeejump. Fehler. Fazit: der Blick hat seinen Preis.

Superb pier with 2 floors. The top floor has open air views of the beach and sea including fantastic views of the sand dunes and large stretch of coastline. The second floor has a few shops and lots of eateries. There is also an action section where people can do bungee jumps and zipline.

Op de Pier heb je genoeg keuze voor een hapje eten en / of iets te drinken.

Essen und Trinken. Hier hat man Action und man kann sich doch ganz entspannen. Ich empfehle hier das Restaurant ganz am Ende am Pier. Gratis Toilette und das Essen ist ganz in Ordnung und mit dieser Ausssicht auch Preis/Leistung super

De Pier in Scheveningen has a long history, which could be summed up as glorious and decayed. People from The Hague can probably remember how de pier declined slowly, even being closed due to various hazards (i.e. wood rotting away, exposing the sea under the stairs to the former lookout tower). But wait, de pier is back!
I must say I was quite surprised when I visited in a windy weekend in October. The place was buzzing with a lot of eateries, forming (I guess) some sort of food court (but not officially so). Anyway, I liked it a lot. Being off season, it was not busy. But I can imagine it being busy on a good day with weather not being too hot otherwise people would be sitting on the beach).

We zijn dit weekend (paasweekend) op verrassingsweekend (geschenk voor m'n ouders), met het hele gezin.
Bij ons gezin horen ook 2 kleine honden (poedel en Tibetaanse Terrier).
