湖ですが多少の波もありちょっと怖かったですが、とても良かったです。清々しい気持ちになりました。最後にお茶をいただけました。

I found Toya Tour Guide offering Nakajima nature walk when searching for activity for our day at Lake Toya. Nakajima is nature reserve island smack in the middle of scenic Lake Toya. The website is in Japanese, with the help of Google translate I sent an email and received a prompt reply. I made reservation for a 2 1/4 afternoon walk - we were lucky that my husband and I were the only guests that day.
Yuji, our guide, speaks perfect English as he went to school in Colorado. We were transported by private boat five minutes from the lake to the island. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, introducing us to unique nature and habitat of the island as well as Toya area in general.
It is a very pleasant walk, which perfectly complements our morning hike on Mt Usu.
