Wonderful venue. Rustic and simple but the performances are great and very enjoyable. The actors did very well.

As an attendee at Blackhorse Village Players for a number of seasons, I can tell you they only get better and better! The stars are usually local and obviously enjoy the theatre arts, complementing each other's talents. The entertainment: both comedy and drama, are some of the best offered locally, and often by Canadian writers. The size of the theatre means audiences are drawn into the play not only by theme but by 50-50 draws, local news, and a cast which one meets both on and off stage: the usher or refreshment stand server may be the star of the previous play. A wonderful place to meet and be greeted by local talent!

Another delightful comedy brought to life by this small town theatre company, The Foursome follows a group of long ago friends as they spend the day whacking balls and take turns delving into the love/hate relationship each has with golf, life, love, careers and each other. We giggled throughout the performance as these impressive actors delivered one punch line after another. Blackhorse theatre continues to churn out hilarious productions, that their audience can relate to. It’s a guaranteed good time.
This is a compact, bare bones theatre, but that intimacy makes patrons appreciate these productions all the more. We are very lucky indeed. If you’ve never experienced ametuer theatre before, you should treat yourself. It’s well worth the $18 ticket

Located in the country just south of Tottenham on Highway #9 and Mount Wolfe Road is a small hidden gem called the Blackhorse Village Players theatre.
This theatre is ran by local volunteers/thespians and they produce and act in their productions. An evening of quality amateur theatre, time and money well spent!

I Went to see "Buying the Moose" a comedy by Michael G Wilmot at the end of January. It was directed by Morris Durante a local Caledon Man. A great job was done by all actors as well as Mr Durante that put it together. They are all local which is super. The play was hilarious. Adult Tickets are $18 each. I sat in seat E8 which was great for me. This is my second play that I have seen there and sadly have been in Caledon for 16 years. The best Seats in all rows are D-E-F seats 3-12 as they are centred with the stage. But don’t let that stop you if you can’t get those seats. It’s a quaint theatre and you feel like you are part of the play. So please help support your local theatre and go and see the next play; A Bench in the Sun March 22,24,25,26,31, April 1,2,6,7,& 8 It’s a comedy too. After that its Alice & Henry: Into the Wild a comedy by Michele Riml May 31, June 2,3,4,8,10,11,15,16,17 this year. Actors in the play were Vince Ursini (Rob) Angie Sapalovski (Betty) Mark Hayward ( Greg) Jane Bolton ( Cheryl) Its even great for when you have guests in from out of Town to take them to. At intermission they serve for a low cost coffee, pop, baked goods ( Sorry no alcohol) But I told them they do need to have bags of chips as they will be a hit there. Keep up the great work BlackHorse Team, see you at your next play
