This museum consists of two sections: anthropology and archeology, but it was not very attractive to me, because real Rasht means talking to the people of Rasht and eating traditional and traditional food in the municipality square.

Although the museum, itself, from building prospective, is not a huge deal (it was built in 1970) but the history of Gilan is depicted here so well, there are some artifacts here which belong to about 3000 years ago! That's what we call HISTORY! If you are around, I recommend visit here

I highly recommend this place to see, if you are travelling north of Iran. Needs climbing about 2 hours but it is worth it.

This is a nice museum of the region. It will not take more than an hour or so to go through so it would be good to plan going here with other places as well.

Visited this museum in May 2015. It was okay worth a look but nothing special. 1-2 hours maximum would do it so you could plan other things for the day.

This is a good museum to see, you can cover it in a couple of hours. Very clean, plenty to see and learn, it's not too big to avoid getting too tired and tired of seeing too much. Can combine with another activity in one day.

Just a normal museum in Rasht the capital city of Gilan province in north of Iran.In this museum you can see some part of Gilan history and I suggest you to spend only 1 hour not more to see this museum.
