Was closed the day I had booked in for with no warning.

In November, we made a booking for a Christmas dinner in late December, the bar member who took our booking wrote it down, put it in the system, took a phone number and said they’d see us on Monday the 19th December at 1:30 (today at the time of writing). We arrived there to find it was closed with no one around, very disappointing and not even the decency to call us to tell us it would be shut.

Most interesting place which still has the feel of a large family home in the Arts and Crafts style with superb Tiffany exhibits and other items of interest. Excellent tea room and gift shop with pleasant gardens . We will definitely come again

A wonderful wedding venue

My wife and I had an amazing day on 27th August 2022 , on our wedding day. The venue was more than we could have hoped for, friendly helpful staff who ensured the day ran smoothly, great food some of the best we have tasted. The grounds and the building were superb. All in all we could not recommend this venue highly enough.

What an amazing hidden gem! Not only is there the wonderful Tiffany glass collection, within the beautiful interesting house, but the most charming, welcoming staff made us feel like VIPs

Visit to see fab Tiffany glassware

Visited to see the Tiffany glass collection which was fantastic and well worth visiting. Helpful member of staff at reception in Hall. Cafe was uninspiring. Food overpriced and surroundings were quite shabby. Gardens were wonderful.

Beautiful wedding

Attended yesterday for a wedding and was there all day. Unfortunately the weather was poor so we were inside for drinks before the ceremony. The bar staff were lovely and helpful, despite being a small bar they served people quickly and in a friendly manner. Only complaint about the bar was that there was no draught it was only bottled lagers, beer and cider or cans of pop, and obviously spirits. We felt the cans of pop were quite over priced at £2 a can but everything else was reasonable.
The ceremony was beautiful, the room was small but full of character, this same room was the room we would later eat in.
We had celebration drinks in another room afterwards, this would later be where the night do was and despite looking far too small it actually wasn’t. There was plenty of seating and a large enough space for dancing later on.
The meal was beautiful, I’ve attached pictures, didn’t get pictures of the starters. The children’s meals were lovely, only complaint was they had a very small amount of chips on the plate for the children, the kitchen were very accommodating when we asked if they could make some more and we would pay, as it was there was quite a few left over and they didn’t want extra payment, which we thought was lovely, so I had two happy children!
I’ll be honest I was sceptical about attending a wedding at Haworth, I wasn’t even aware it was a wedding venue, but it was beautiful and I would recommend the venue if any of my friends were looking for a wedding venue. All in all a lovely day that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent afternoon tea at this cafe. Delicious selection of savouries and sweet cakes all beautifully presented. If we lived nearer this would be a regular of ours.

A gem of a find!

Superb Arts and Crafts house, lovely interior and history. Great little shop selling cards etc and the possibility of buying original pictures. The Tiffany glass is beautiful. The gardens I expect will be too in the summer. The studios offer regular workshops in many different crafts.
There is a good cafe in the main house also.
My only niggle was the lack of welcome or acknowledgement on entering the building, both ladies were engrossed in their conversation. I approached another lady, who explained everything with great enthusiasm. I believe she was the gallery manager, she gave us a floor plan and brief history of the building.
Well done to her and the commitment she has for the future.
