A visit to Saltaire was the reason for a holiday in Bradford. It was so interesting to see the inside of Salt's Mill. It is beautifully presented on all floors. The informative 40 minute film is well worth seeing. The fact it is free is brilliant!

This place has so much interestig things to see and buy. Its a wonderful inspiring place that also is a hub of culture, well worth a visit. You will need a full day or two to really take in the whole place.

Excellent shops and a good venue with fascinating art on display. My parents from abroad were very interested. A couple of cafes too.

There is a large collection of paintings to view. Many books and drawing equipment to buy. A few floors to visit and a cafe inside. The queue can get very long.
As it is free worth the visit. The third floor is only open certain days of the week.

Going to the mill is mine and my daughters special treat. A wander around the galleries, nice lunch and maybe buy a book or two.

The village and the building are absolutely breath-taking. There is a fantastic atmosphere inside the Saltsmill with a lovely bookshop, an arts and crafts shop, and a lively café. It is a real privilege to walk around this beautiful, historic mill. Suitable for families and young children aswell.
The art exhibitions were good, I particularly enjoyed the Beesley photography exhibition. But the Hockney 'IPad' exhibition felt a little bit daft for me.
Overall, a lovely, pleasant place to visit in which one could spend a good two hours walking around.

This time we just came here for a big lunch on a wet day with a 2-year old and an 8-month old. Long queue for lunch but there’s quick turnover and the staff were v on the ball so we were sitting down within 15 minutes. Excellent food - our 2-year old grandson wolfed down most of his Margarita pizza, I loved my goats cheese and roasted veg pizzeta (not a small dish despite its claims!) and the other two adults in the party clearly loved their very substantial Nicoise salads, laden with fresh tuna, eggs, anchovies & Parmesan. The cafe is huge and could be noisy but the old mill ceiling is so high that the noise just dissipates. Quick service and fast friendly staff make this a good place to come - & the rest of the world obviously knows that too…..Not much time to browse the shops afterwards, sadly, given the needs of the two youngest in the party, but Salt’s Mill is a favourite and we’ll be back.

The exhibitions are always interesting. Currently Ian Beasley’s photographic exhibit is superb. He captures Bradford at a pivotal moment in its history. David Hockney’s Year in Normandy is thought provoking too.

I have been several times before and it is always good. The new Hockney exhibition on the enormous 4th floor is amazing. I took a friend who had never been before, we did a little shopping, had lunch in the diner and a walk into Saltaire. Really good day. Free , lots of parking and very good for disabled parking. Friendly staff.

It wasn't memorable at all for us. We had been wanting to go for a couple of years and when the opportunity came we were disappointed. In fact I can't remember much about it at all.

Not a huge lot to see. We did the entire building and the surrounding area in probably less than two hours, taking our time. Then we moved on to the BBC Museum which is not far away. We were staying in a Hotel in the centre of Bradford and had travelled from Newcastle. Probably wouldn't visit again.
