Beautiful falls very high falls 5 minute walk ftom the entrance gate there is a local market selling african arts .the only downside is the gate at the view point

There is nothing to take a multitude of photos, there is a harrow more than 2 meters high with tips at the end. There is no platform you have to point the camera between the harrows to take a photo. So almost all the pictures are the same. Except go the other way, but I don't know if it's planned to go the other way. There is a modest entrance fee to pay it seems to me it was 50 Rands (2,5 €) per person.

The scenery at the Mac Mac Falls was amazing, we will definitely be back for another visit when we go thru to Sabie for the next Tube Race.

Beautiful view

The view was amazing. The waterfall is so beautiful to look at and it made you want to go to the bottom of it to get closer. The lookout has fencing around it for safety.

Beautiful waterfall

After a short “hike” you reach the observation deck. The view is blocked somewhat by the fence. You just have to take pictures.

The Mac Mac falls are breathtaking but everything else a total waste of money! No toiletpaper or even paper towels to dry your hands. All the safety railings are in a terrible state of neglect? I have no idea what the funds (entry fees) are used for. Certainly NOT maintenance! Will not pay 1c to visit any heritage sites in SA not worth it!

Falls to see but without real more , the path is very fast , we stay there 15/20 min , i.e. the entrance is paid

Beautiful!

It was such a beautiful view. Never thought it would be where it is, I always imagined we would look up at it and not down at it. But it was amazing! The walk there definitely was a bit tricky. Not wheelchair friendly. The people selling there can be pushy and for me no is no. I don’t like my no to be ignored. I’ve understand they need an income but not having my no thank you respected makes an experience that should be amazing quite annoying.

Big disappointment due to the fact that in the dry season (August-September ) it was practically dry and so we stopped to look only from the street without entering the dedicated parking lot. For those who will go there, however to know that a short fenced path that starts at the end of the stalls, leads to the pitch with the safety net from which to look down on the 70-meter high waterfall.
The name Macmac was given to Scottish gold miners who searched this area of South Africa for the precious metal.

The waterfall was underwhelming. The viewing area is far and the trail does not appear to be maintained. The only positive were the goods on sale from the hawkers. There were a lot of lovely items such as art pieces etc.
