My boyfriend and I stayed in Sabie for 2 nights and wanted to do a guided tour of the Blyde River Canyon. Our hostel (see my separate review for Sabie Backpackers!) handed us a flyer for Mountain High Cycle Tours and said that they also did driven tours, so we gave Andre a call - we're so glad we did!
Our tour lasted all day and took in all the major viewpoints in the area including the Three Rondavels, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, several beautiful waterfalls, and some great local spots including a gorgeous bar right on the river that we would never have known about otherwise. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the price was fabulous value for money. We also had lunch at Harrie's Pancakes in Graskop which wasn't included in the price, but was well recommended, very tasty and reasonably priced. The only negative for us is that we forgot to bring sunscreen so we were burnt to a crisp by the end of the day, but that was our fault!
By far the best thing about our tour was Andre, our guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable - his factoids about plants and animals were completely fascinating and really brought the scenery and natural surroundings alive! His boundless, infectious energy and enthusiasm for this beautiful part of the world was a joy to share. Thanks Andre!

hi this is the best hike i have been to and i have been to plenty perhaps it was the weather as well,almost like a rainy weather and not too hot.
This hike of Bridal vale falls is very close to Sabie town,Enquire in town about the pass required from out door hiking goods shop.
The best thing about this hike is that it is like 7 kilometer,has a safe place to park transport.
Now here is the kisker during this hike you will encounter 3 - 4 water falls from a very close distance can even go under some of them if weather not too cold. It is a mountain hike with return parh being a walking slope but beautifull way to connect to the nature.
