Even if you are not a spirit drinker, you will enjoy tasting the various spirits on offer.
Great atmosphere and knowledgeable friendly staff.

Loved our visit to The Kiwi Spirit Distillery this afternoon. The staff were so lovely, knowledgeable and friendly and the tastings were just amazing. We felt very welcome and would recommend stopping here when in the area.

I was having a pretty bad day, feeling pretty defeated when I meandered into this distillery, and instantly the bartenders made me feel better, not only doing a tasting, and making me the best gin and tonic I've ever had, but then giving me recommendations on local hikes and sites to see and sending me out on my way to them. I came back after the hikes were done, and they gave me recommendations for the rest of my trip.
Their gin is FANTASTIC, I wish I had been able to buy a bottle and bring it home. Their bartenders are very skilled and make amazing drinks.

We are so glad that we visited Kiwi Spirit Distillery, Jeremy was an excellent host, his knowledge about the spirits was amazing, we were made to feel very welcome. Jeremy also gave us some recommendations of where to visit and dine while in the area. Local knowledge is alway good.
Thank you Jeremy for making our visit so memorable, we will return.

Our group of 9 adults and a toddler had spent a few days in Pohara and decided to stop into Kiwi Spirit Distillery on our way out of town..... SO GLAD WE DID! Jeremy the host was exceptional and we loved every one of the gins & cocktails he made. Lovely setting at a big table outside under the wisteria covered patio. Every part of this visit exceeded our expectations and the service was well above and beyond. Jeremy even made a suggestion for a short walk (the grove) before we left town and this also did not disappoint.

Incredible experience. Friendly and engaging chat with all patrons before, during and after we got there and a FREE tasting provided to all, customised to your specific preferences. The spirits are amazing but also diverse and there’ll be something for everyone there. You never feel pressured to buy anything, but you probably will anyway because you are guided through the best products suited to your tastes, and how to enjoy them. No pretension despite the quality of the product and all discussion is easily catered to different levels of knowledge about distilled beverages to ensure everyone is able to find and enjoy something.

Called in out of curiosity during a stay at Tata Beach and so glad we did. Great host behind the bar, great tastings and really simple non pretentious sharing of tastes, mixes etc. Other people came in while we were there and the comments and conversation mixed between the groups which was great. We bought a Gin, a Whiskey and 2 Liqueurs which they happily packed and couriered home for us. Be rude not to go again when we're down that way.
