Loved doing the 14 km trip with friends - and our dog! He wasn't too sure about it to begin with, but then loved being on the river. We all went for a swim opposite Beynac Castle. Highly recommendable.

We had the best day canoeing the 14km stretch with Canoe Roquegeoffre. The canoes were very easy to manage and at times almost effortless with the current carrying you, even though the water levels in the river were so low (late August 2022).
Beautiful views of the chateaux, Castelnaud and Roque Gageac with these high cliffs dominating the sky as you gently paddle beneath - a fantastic way to see this part of the Dordogne.
Very well organized, the bus left on time to take us to the start location, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the whole experience was very relaxed. Would absolutely come again! The 14km distance was perfectly manageable for us (2 adults, 12 year old and 8 year old); in fact we ended up having lunch further on that we intended as we surprised ourselves with how far we had travelled. Meant there was plenty of time for a delightful swim!
It’s recommended to book in advance unless you’re really out of season (phone only) and worth noting the company only takes cash (no cards).

Kanotocht van 14 km, langs onder andere Château de Castelnaud, Château de Beynac en bijbehorende dorpjes. Mooi uitzicht vanaf de Drodogne. Goed geregeld vanaf kanoverhuur. Bij eindpunt leuk klimpark (airpark) tegen betaling.

Accueil excellent nous sommes partis en premier dès 9.00 ce matin et avions du coup la Dordogne pour nous seuls. Les paysages sont merveilleux et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les tables de pique-nique à l’arrivée. Merci beaucoup à cette charmante équipe, nous reviendrons !

Comme tous les ans, descente le long de la Dordogne, rivière calme, de superbes points de vues, je recommande ! Plusieurs parcours disponibles, tarifs abordables.

It was unbelievable peaceful. We are 67 and 64 years young! My wife was concerned that the three hour trip would be to "strenuous" so we opted , at he last minute" for the one hour which was no problem for the owners.
Go for the three hour!!!!!! it is effortless as you are going with the flow. The scenery is breath taking and you totally relax.
We finished back at the start,(they take you by mini bus to your departure point at the beginning of you trip).
We then sat in a very nice "beach style" bar overlooking the river for a further two glorious hours. SUPERB and great people who run this family business.

Avec un groupe d’amis et notre Golden, nous avons pris 3 canoës pour la descente de 14 km. C’était super. Nous avons pris des sandwiches à la boulangerie de Castelnaud la Chapelle, donc une pique-nique mi-parcours (ou le Céou se jette dans la Dordogne) était vraiment très chouette. Apres Beynac, il y a peu de monde, sauf quelques cygnes et des rapaces au-dessous de nos têtes. Un vrai bonheur d’aller nager dans la rivière – il a fait très chaud. À recommander.

Très belle balade de 28km sur la Dordogne, ses villages et châteaux.
Le niveau de l'eau était assez haut, ce qui donne assez de courant pour ne pas fatiguer. Accueil très sympathique et canoë en très bon état.

Nous avons raté le Prince de Monaco de quelques jours....endroit très people! blague à part l accueil et le service est au top; Matériel en très bon état. Petit snack à proximité pour se rafraichir àprès votre descente !
