There was a beautiful wedding 💒 at the abbey yesterday and very rarely are the flowers 🌷 as gorgeous. I love ❤️ the abbey and often light a candle 🕯️ in remembrance of my parents.

This abbey is under half its previous size: the nave was destroyed under Henry VIII. The remainder is still a substantial building showing a range of styles of architecture from over its lifetime.

We always go for a Xmas day morning walk and went to light a candle 🕯 for my dad. A warm welcome from vicar Claire Lording (best vicar in pershore in my opinion).

Visited the Abbey and its lovely grounds. We enjoyed the concert performed by Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra which was held to commemorate the installation of the new organ.

The Abbey. Don’t bother visiting Pershore for cafes or pretty riverside places. We visited on a Monday and the place was dead with many outlets closed up. The river is edged with tall rusting poles and couldn’t find a happening place anywhere.

The Pershore Abbey Is stunning with over 1000 years old and the grounds by the Abbey are beautiful I can recommend to come here for a walk and enjoy this beautiful Abbey.

It is great to see that work is being done on the organ, however this did restrict our access to the inside of the Abbey a little.
This is a fantastic example of a church through the ages.

What a super event the plum festival was on August bank holiday weekend. The abbey offers tower tours and teddy zip wire and parachute jumps. Great fun for everyone

On Remembrance Day lit a candle for my dad. 2 years since covid lockdown number 1. A beautiful spring day in pershore park.
