A great example of Victorian civic architecture. Lovely main hall with a narrow gallery running round two sides and a larger space at the back. Attended a few concerts there in early July - very good acoustics. Modern bar & toilets

I went to see Tom Allen's stand up comedy show. The building itself is beautiful, the main hall a real step back in time. The show was great. The bar area does leave a lot to be desired. It is basically bottles and cans poured into plastic glasses. Prices are a bit steep for a can (in my case Guinness). The toilets are clean but again quite old.

We live about a mile away from this venue but don't venture in too often. We recently went to see Billy Pearce there...What a brilliant night. We were seated on the balcony with really good views of the stage. The building has quite a lit of steps to get up to access the stalls. The décor is good with good clean toilets. The bar gets very busy pre and mid show...So be quick if you want a swift drink.

Excellent service by the staff at Cleckheaton Town Hall.
Such a shame that government cuts have forced the closure of parts of this building.

Attended the town hall at Cleckheaton to see a school performance of Les Miserables. Entry was via steep steps but I imagine the lift could be used for any disabled visitors. The council staff and volunteers ensured all visitors found there seats and were sold drinks and/or raffle tickets. The auditorium is small so all seats in the stalls gave a decent view of the stage. The seats weren't too comfortable and were quite close to each other. That said they were good value for money. The show was a great success and I will return for future events.

very impressive town hall for such a small place--must be to do with its industrial background as there are plenty of old mills about most which have now got a different use.

We watched Aladdin here yesterday and it is a lovely auditorium.
We had a good view of the stage. They had bar facilities. There is lots of parking around. Lovely family evening.

The inside of the building is not too bad and the auditorium is a good venue to watch musicals, plays and the like. This is not a place to visit unless you are going to a show or need advice regarding Kirklees.

Been to see Maddy Prior a few times here in the past but my beautiful little Granddaughter performed in a concert here in 2015. Nice stage and good acoustics. Situated right in the centre of Quaint Cleckheaton there is plenty of parking close by. There are a lot of steps up to it but if you require a lift there is one available at the side so don't be deterred.

We watched the ABBA tribute band at the town hall in Cleckheaton and the show was absolutely fantastic. If you are a ABBA fan get to see these they were brilliant. Someone there told us the Elvis night was fantastic as well.
