We stayed in Bukit Lawang for two nights in the jungle at the end of November 2024 and then for the volcano tour. From the beginning the organization worked great. Corinna was constantly available for us or contacted us promptly. Even when we were on site, I was able to contact them or the guide. We felt very well looked after. The guys from the jungle were awesome: always in good spirits, super friendly and helpful and totally reliable. Thanks again Doni and his team. Also the food was delicious and totally nicely prepared. We can absolutely recommend the tour.

Amazing experience and superbly organized. I contacted Corinna from Germany beforehand and was still unsure about my travel plans. She helped me with lots of tips and suggestions and planned our trekking perfectly. The pick-up at the airport, our accommodation, the trekking and the guides, everything was great. I would do it all again.

Warum haben wir uns für die Buchung mit SumatraTrekking entschieden ? Meine Freundin Caro und ich wollten eine Trekkingtour in Bukit Lawang machen und wir wollten Orang Utans sehen. Es gibt so viele Anbieter dort. Corinna hat uns sofort geantwortet und war für all unsere Fragen und Bedenken offen. Sie hat ein unglaubliches Know How und hilft wirklich in jeglicher Hinsicht. Wir möchten uns hier nochmal herzlich für die tolle Organisation bedanken und können SumatraTrekking wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Ihr macht das wirklich toll ! Liebe Grüße Caro und Dirk

It was really the best tour I had in Southeast Asia. It was just my group of 5 with 2 guides and 1 cooler at the camp. The guides(Ucok & Andre) put so much effort in explaining everything they knew about the jungle, in preparing the food and in letting us feel safe. They radiated so much happiness and were so caring:) The food was amazing, the camps were really nice & everything was done in such a way to Protest the animals and the flora in the jungle.
I totally recommend that and if i can I‘ll go again and make a longer tour (my last tour was 2days/1night but it was definitely to short for me). If you love trekking and are a bit adventurous, it’s amazing!:)

Gute Organisation trotz erschwerter Kommunikation wegen schwachen Internets. Reibungsloser Ablauf von Flughafentransfer bis Hiking Tour im Nationalpark. Tolle Guides (Ucok und Wawan), top Verpflegung und ein super Fahrer. Wir können die Tour nur jedem empfehlen. Danke für ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Wir würden NICHT wieder über sumatra-trekking. com (Corinna) buchen (7-Tages-Tour)! Schon im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation seitens Corinna mangelhaft und wir wussten nicht, was uns erwartet. Vor Ort hat sie dann plötzlich gar nicht mehr auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet.
Unser Hotel am Lake Toba hatte keines der gewünschten Zimmer frei, weshalb Corinna ein günstigeres buchte, ohne uns die Vergünstigung weiterzugeben (oder uns überhaupt zu informieren). Wir bekamen dank der netten Besitzerin der Toba Cottages doch noch ein besseres Zimmer, welches kurzfristig frei wurde. Corinna hatte das Zimmer auch noch gar nicht bezahlt und wir konnten froh sein, dass die Buchung nicht einfach storniert wurde! Corinna hinterlies bei uns einen unprofessionellen Eindruck und wir hatten während der Tour oftmals ein ungutes Gefühl! Dank der guten Guides, Hotels und Fahrer hatten wir dennoch eine gute Zeit auf Sumatra. Wir empfehlen die Tour über jemand anderen zu buchen oder selbst zu organisieren.
