This was a most excellent visit. We had a fully guided tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Climbing up the ladders right to the top and having the whole workings explained on every floor. May be a bit difficult for the infirm to access but the guide would certainly let anybody know.

Wonderful windmill. Martin our guide, was exceptional and made the experience. He brought to life all the fantastic mechanical solutions!

A lovely little windmill. Unfortunately closed on a weekday as, like many windmills, it is open Sundays and Bank Holidays. I’m sure this is the kind of place families will enjoy when they can see the how the grain is ground into flour.

Lovely afternoon spent here having a picnic and then on the tour in the windmill. The guide was very knowledgeable and it was really interesting. Everyone was so friendly. We went on the circular walk around by wilton water and crofton beam engines and through wilton, finishing back at the windmill.

Took our grandaughters here one evening late summer.Did not manage to see a sunset as it disappeared behind the cloud but I can imagine this would be wonderful. We would like to go back and see this when windmill and other outlet is open.

Our family enjoyed a lovely visit with a guided tour. Easy to miss the entrance. Family found it very informative. It would have been good to buy some flour but as it hadn’t been windy they hadn’t ground any.

Wonderful Windmill, in an idyllic setting. Picnic tables and benches situated throughout the grass next to windmill, perfect for a picnic. We went on a Saturday so it wasn't open but was amazing to visit! Recommend
