We wanted a beach near our lodging, and this beach fit the bill.
We arrived very early at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday, so had no issues with parking or crowds.
We parked then walked past the dive shop done 140 wooden steps to get to the beach.
Beach was a little rocky, but very manageable.
There were minimal opportunities for shade, e.g. there were no trees or shrubs.
15 Euro for a pair of very comfy, cushioned lounge chairs.
Saw a few fishes while snorkeling by the rocks.
Snack shack had a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and a decent food selection. Food service starts at noon.
No restrooms, hence the 4 star review.
Overall, it was a great beach for us.

Beautiful cove with incredible water.
The layout and decoration are superb! We had a delicious lunch with quality products. Perfect for a day away from crowded beaches! We will be back with great pleasure!

A small extremely well-kept beach, set in a beautiful natural cove with crystal clear water. An umbrella and 2 sunbeds equipped with a soft mattress for only 15 euros.... If you are in Iraclio or nearby do not miss this corner of paradise

Youthful atmosphere with music managed by the DJ, cost of umbrella and two sunbeds 10 euros, super efficient service on both drinks and food, super recommended beach, although to get there is 'a nice staircase to go, but nothing impossible

One of the best beaches in Crete for both location and services. Few beds but padded and comfortable. Slightly reduced menu at food level, but the umbrella service is free. Around 16.30/17 the whole beach remains in the shade

Loved everything about it. The sea, the place, the view and the nice beachbar. The afternoons and evenings offer a very relaxed, idilic atmospehere. U can go for a beach day or for just a drink in the afternoon or evening. The lady who owns the place was very frindly and even offered us a drink to compensate for a little misunderstanding ❤️
There are lots of steps though to climb down there and then up, so be prepared 😅. Loved the steps design, by the way

Beach within a natural cove, the sea is beautiful, always calm and clear. The lido is run by kind young people who offer every kind of service. Padded sunbeds, ordering directly from the umbrella both drinks and food. All seasoned with pleasant background music. The morning is very quiet, the afternoon is filled with locals. Highly Recommendation to go early and enjoy the wonderful sea! Low prices!

After visiting all the beaches of the island staying in Heraklion this was our favorite place in fact we stayed for the remaining days of our holiday.
I start by saying that they have a unique service kind and friendly guys who allow a unique umbrella service without the need to get up serving drinks and delicious food.
The atmosphere and relaxing having a relaxing background music thanks to the DJ
Comfortable sunbeds padded with fantastic cushion and umbrella including rigid and opaque.
The sea in this part of the island is a charm
Recommendation to arrive by 9am to enjoy all its beauty and if you can book since it is not great as a cove and deal early.

Recommendation to everyone to go there because you will struggle not to return!

Spiaggia bellissima, pulita e curata, gestita da personale giovane molto gentile che ti serve quello che preferisci sotto l'ombrellone. Prezzi fascia media, 10€ per un lettino. Ambiente molto rilassante. Acqua cristallina.
