Can not fault the therapists or the spa facilities. Great option for treatments. However spa receptionists are quite rude. Very dismissive when speaking to you, speak very abruptly to you, I checked in for treatment and was told to take a seat and wait to be called, I stood around for a minute waiting for a robe etc and receptionist very rudely said to me “what do you want a robe or something”.
I visited the spa for 2 days, and was not impressed with spa receptionists on either days. I was with a group of other people and they were all on the same page and felt the same. Very disappointing for such a lovely spa that you spend a lot of money in.

Myself and my wife booked a stay at the Seafield Hotel for the August bank holiday weekend and of course we were looking forward to a trop to the spa. We booked a Rasul Journey for 4pm on the day. When we arrived, we were told my staff at the desk that our appointment was for 4.30pm despite the email saying 4pm. We returned to our room to wait only to be phoned at 4.20pm to say that the appointment was actually for 4pm. Not a great start!
Upon returning we were seated and given a selection of products to choose from for the treatment. We were then led to a Rasul room, which was part of the main pool area and had no significant privacy of its own. Worse, the shower that we were to use was the main shower in the pool area, so the entire experience lacks a dedicated space of its own. The actual treatment itself is self-applied and while pleasant has almost no input from any staff and feels very haphazard.
The treatment is meant to end in a shower and steam experience but that never activated, and we just washed off in the shower. Very much a letdown considering it costs €75 per person and I would recommend any kind of massage treatment over it instead of the vastly overpriced and underwhelming self-applied treatments. Very disappointing considering the reputation of the place.
The pool is lovely though.

Beautiful, clean,friendly, and all updated, they think of everything and great value, €25 for two hours in the therapy spa, robes, towels all supplied.

I booked in for an overnight with a treatment. They booked the bed for tonight but the treatments for tomorrow. The Oceo manager could only say did you not check the email. She never apologised. I did check the email and the girl put down the wrong treatment and I emailed about that. The girl who took the booking never signed the email. ( I wonder why )Why would I have a treatment at 6.45 pm tomorrow if I had to check out at 11 am
This is the second time the spa messed up bookings I was there in February. Clearly they don’t care. Anyway I was offered dinner but it was only ok. Duty manager did her best. Such a shame used to be a great hotel

Firstly I cannot say enough about the wonderful therapist Aisling and the Destress treatment that I recieved on the day I visited the spa. I was really looking forward to my treatment as I had recieved a gift voucher for a significant birthday two years ago that i still hadn't used due to cancellations during multiple lockdowns. When I confirmed this booking I was advised that the treatment included an hour in the thermal suite afterwards which I was really looking forward to as I had heard great things about it! AfterI finished the treatment and had some lovely refreshments in the relax room, I went down to use the thermal suite. I had only walked into the pool when I heard shouting from my right! I looked across and a staff member was standing at the side of the pool shouting something at me (couldn't hear due to the mask and the echo). I paddled over and was abrubtly told "you get out now - pool closed for 45 minutes". Needless to say the benefits of the destress treatment melted away quite quickly! I got out of the pool, threw my robe on over my togs and went out to reception again, explaining what had happened. I was told that my session had fallen "between times?" and was offered a seat in to wait the 45 minutes until the cleaning finished. I didn't want to to this as I was in a wet swimsuit, so asked if I could maybe come back another day to use the suite (not ideal - but was trying to make the best of it). The receptionist asked me when would that be (???) and that she'd have to check with her manager if this was possible. I was irritated at this point and explained that I was dissapointed. I bought some of the products used in my treatment. Later that afternoon, I got an email from the manager stating that they "were dissapointed I was dissatisfied" - and also informing me that I had been overcharged by 18.50 for my products. No offer of reparation for my experience!! I'm baffled to be honest as I had heard great things about the spa, it looks beautiful but have to say I did not recieve 5 star service from Seafield

Me and my partner visited the oceo spa at Seafield Hotel at the beginning of October 2021, we were warmly greeted at the reception by sinéad who was nothing short of helpful and had a wealth of knowledge answering all of our queries relating to the premises and treatments, the facilities are top class and feels like a world away from home, when we finished in the thermal suites, Sinéad made sure to check in to see had we enjoyed our experience, and wished us well, we will definitely be back soon, the friendliness and approachability of staff like sinéad is second to none and really complimented the experience as a whole.

Definitely one of the best spas we have experienced in Ireland and I think up there with most in the world! With complimentary robes in the hotel room a quick elevator ride and you are in luxury. A nice reception area to wait for your spa treatment which my wife enjoyed and then an excellent therapy room with a large pool, indoor and outdoor whirlpool and sauna and steam rooms to make a perfect relaxing time - especially for couples. The outside area was amazing and would be perfect even in the middle of winter and loads of space so everyone could relax and enjoy. Definitely will be returning!

I had a fantastic spa day, felt so relaxed and revitalised. Staff brilliant - from booking to treatments. Katie-May, explained all the options to me and helped me to pick a treatment and she was so enthusiastic that I booked two! My day started with a 9am visit to thermal suite. I was welcomed to the Spa by Sinéad who made me feel very welcome. The vitality pool is worth a visit on it's own. Then came my treatments - my therapist Sharon was superb - I had a full body massage first - an amazing experience followed by a facial - my skin looked and felt wonderful. Thanks to all at Oceo - I'll be back for my birthday!
