Lovely little theatre within the heart of Cheadle Hulme. I've seen 3 of their plays this season and all were strongly cast and very well acted. For an amateur production company the backstage crew do a tremendous job creating amazing sets.
Nice to see the audiences return post-Covid; a noticeable increase as the season progressed - the actors deserve to play to full-houses for the effort they put in

We visit this theatre on a relatively regular basis. The quality of the performances are usually above average and the venue is a reasonable size with comfortable seating, pleasant bar area and free parking a few yards away.

We have been to many plays at Chads Theatre and never been disappointed by the high standard of acting by amateur players ,warm welcome,and meaningful plays.The theatre is conveniently situated near car park and reasonably priced tickets.

I went to my first performance at Chads last night - the great Blithe Spirit, which I've seen a fair few times over the years - and I can safely say that this is a great version and well worth going to see.
The play was very well staged, from the set to the costumes and make up, and the whole cast were perfectly cast! They each played their characters extremely well and really captured the 'spirit' of the play!
We had a really enjoyable evening and I'll definitely be going to back to see more as I enjoyed it just as much as plays I've seen at the big venues in Manchester!

My partner and I go on a regular bases to see some great plays here . Would highly recommend. There is also a little bar Where you can get drinks from before the pie end in the remission.

Great productions with attention to detail and good variety of quality dramas so over the season there is sure to be something that is your cup of tea.
Most recent play I saw was "Handbagged" which required enormous skill from the actors, directors and production team. Impersonations of Margaret Thatcher and The Queen...........now that takes some doing and CHADS did it.
And thanks also to friendly staff who really do make a difference.

The quality of the acting, stage setting and costumes is excellent, with a good choice of productions. The theatre is smart and the staff always very friendly and approachable. It's also a nice touch that the programs are free and very informative. CHADS is as good as amateur dramatics can ever get.

Went to see Old Times by Pinter last night - superb production and absolutely wonderful acting. Have been to numerous professional theatres where the acting is nowhere as good as this.Not an easy three-hander here, but congratulations to all concerned.

Could someone please advise which are the best seats? What are the 2 separate 'stalls' rows of seats? And how are the next seats mobility restricted?

Hey!
The two front rows are slightly apart from Row C backwards, and without steps. Wheelchair uses are best trying to book for Row C, as there is more room and plenty of space. A seat can be removed for a chair as well, I would email them to check up on this process with booking online.
All seats have a fab view, as the seating is on a rake.
