we went today, 3 children and 2 adults and were very disappointed. On their website they advertised lego but even though we go there at opening time it was already full. worse they advertised lambing but there was no sign of sheep or lambs. I eventually enquired and was told they had borrowed a few lambs from another farm which were in a field and their own (very few) sheep may or may not give birth!!!! The only sheep we found was in the farmyard and certainly not pregnant. Apart form that the park is very small and has a small indoor and larger outdoor play area which is better. But not as good as say nearby Beale Park. the farmyard area animals is very small although it was nice to pet the baby goats and brush the older ones. Luckily we wandered to the top (looking for the lambs) and came acroos the herd of deer and the buy giving the talk about them was very good and we could feed the deer behind the fence. Over all it was all very low key and a very modest attraction with almost all the children staying in the play areas. . The cafe breakfast was good in a nice cafe. the lunch chilli was also good but by 1.15 they had totally sold out of all jacket potatoes and it was very hard to find something suitable for the children to eat - the very short menu was a very adult taste like venison chilli, scotch egg, frittata etc. luckily the pasta was still available and they grudgingly ate that.

A lovely and well-organised day out. I have something to be specially thankful for as I was taken ill during the trip and the staff handled the situation wonderfully, making sure I had what I needed and that I was okay. Thank you to all who work at the farm.

We went as a family, including our two young grandchildren (1 year and 4years) to visit Santa!
Absolutely amazing! Santa and his helpers went above and beyond to make this visit special. How lucky we were to get THE real Santa! The elf’s interaction with Rudolph was classic! Santa chatted with each child individually and worked hard to put them at ease! Priceless!

We visited Bucklebury Farm Park as it sits almost exactly halfway between our family and my brother in-laws. We were so impressed from the offset, the chap at the entrance was lovely and informative about the activities going on. My toddler loved the little indoor play area almost as much as my husband and his brother, the same goes for the giant pillows and the brill outdoor play area.
We all really enjoyed meeting the deer in the top field, the man in charge was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions! We will definitely be returning when the tractor is running again!
Also a lovely selection of bits and bobs in the shop! We didn’t get a chance to make use of the cafe but pop our heads in and will definitely be availing ourselves on our next visit!
Overall a brilliant day with lots to do and see for a reasonable price! We will be back!

Excellent Coffee and Bacon/Sausage bap with a Flat White .. Staff were really helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit. Opens early at 8:30 am for those early birds.. I took my little Cockerpoo who was made really welcome too.. Great Farm Shop with really interesting products.

We arrived around 2.45 on a wet afternoon. The lady on reception was very welcoming and explained that the last tractor ride had already left at 2.30. However on seeing the girl’s disappointed faces and hearing that a 3.30 ride was advertised online she immediately radioed the tractor driver and arranged fir the 3.30 rude to go ahead!
We had a walk round the animal enclosures in the rain and then walked over to get on the trailer. Our driver (Heath) was lovely, very kind and informative and happy to andwer any questions. We were extremely lycky that there were only 6 people on the tide altogether so we had lots of time and opportunity to feed the deer. The girls loved dropping the food down into the deer’s mouths, it was an amazing experience for them and something they can’t experience in their home country.
Even though it was almost closing time and all the other guests had gone home due yo the drizzly weather when we got back to the Playbarn, the staff didn’t rush us and the girls had a fantastic time on the big yellow slide.
We had a really lovely afternoon and will definitely recommend Bucklebury Farm to our friends and we look forward to visiting again.

A brilliant farm park for children and families with excellent facilities that have been newly done up. The tractor ride to see the deer and adventure playground have also been upgraded. A wonderful addition on the day we went was the Enchanted Wood walk which was magical with fairies, elves and wand making within the most beautiful woodland setting.
Having Annual Passes is very good value and highly recommended. Very good customer service with plenty of helpers and catering is well managed and easily available.

Price has increased and now very poor value for money.
It’s beautiful park with great potential. Beautiful blue bell woodland.
Under new management and currently being developed. It’s far too overpriced whilst development is taking place . There is still so much that needs developing. Shame they took sandpit away.
Price of tractor ride used to be all in, but now you have to pay extra, which is shocking considering price of entry into the park. Cost in region of £50 for two adults and one child.
Nice new bouncy pillows, however they appeared far to inflated and not that bouncy. Inside play needs some major development .
The animal experiences need to be improved with better hands on experiences for children. Would be nicer also if they used the fields more for animal viewing as the enclosures are very small and drab for animals to be in all day.
In comparison to Wellington country park and Beale Park, this park is very poor value for money. We won’t be returning unless some huge development is undertaken to reflect the very overpriced entry.

So
I have been a member for 5 years on and off. I bought membership on all occasions after being impressed during the initial visits (when one daughter, and then the next, could enjoy the farm) What the other reviews do not mention is the utterly heartfelt care and heart the staff have. Plus the farm has such old fashioned charm which I hope the new owners keep.
We adore the bouncy cushions, the slides and play park (having a bit of a make over at the moment) It is so brilliant to go on the tractor (£2 doesn’t bother me now and again) Lovely to see all the deer and feed them
We have a great time patting tortoises/ bunnies/ ducklings.
My youngest had been nagging me all week to go and my eldest doesn’t stop taking about going back. We visited today while in the middle of toilet training, which I’ve found err fun (my 3 year old not me 🤣) and it was like having extra family looking after us both. I hope management read this and pass on my thanks to the lady on the desk and Floss x
Yes there is building work going on in places, yes it is worth buying membership and hopefully soon we will be able to walk up the hill for the view. I like that it’s not a huge place and we can’t wait to go back
