We were in the area to see family it was Heritage Day ( 22/09) . We were able to visit the castle (1 hour guided tour ). a beautiful discovery and a passionate Guide who made us discover this beautiful castle and its history .

The castle is private and partially inhabited, the visitable spaces are still important, the guided tour is well done, count 2 hours for the whole estate.
Mandatory guided tour is like playing roulette, either 3 people or a bus of 25. No luck, there were 25 of us.
This castle was built by the greatest artists of Lorraine of the 18th century, the same as Place Stanislas in Nancy or the Château de Lunéville.

Piękne ogrody, sama budowla robi wrażenie ale widać, że mało środków jest na odrestaurowanie zabytków. Ale blisko Nancy warto zrobić wypad. Żeby wejść do pałacu trzeba się umówić na wycieczkę bo zamek jest prywatny wycieczki chyba co 2-3 godziny

This castle linked to the Dukes of Lorraine is very interesting to see. We learn things about the history and the link between the castle family and the Dukes of Lorraine. Some rooms in the castle date from Louis XV and Louis XVIII. The tapestries are very beautiful. rooms are particularly remarkable: the Chinese room and the golden room. Don't hesitate to stroll through the English garden and the French garden.

Lieu à visiter autant pour le jardin à l'anglaise que pour les explications données par une guide fort sympathique.
Néanmoins absolument pas adapté aux personnes en situation d'handicap : allées gravillonnées, escaliers pour accéder au rez-de-chaussée du château ainsi qu'au jardin à la française. Grands escaliers pour accéder au 1er étage, pas de possibilité de s'asseoir pour écouter la visite.
