Walking in this park is such a pleasure. Wide expanse of grassy areas bordered by trees, a large garden with lots of flowering plants and shrubs and a kids playground with a slide, swings and climbing equipment make it a great choice for a weekend family activity. Added bonus is a lake with a foot path around it and lots of ducks and geese swimming on it. Nearby cafe, with outdoor seating, provides a very relaxing ambiance.

From recent visits to this park it is always kept well maintained and has a feeling of serenity when you go there. There are great facilities like a café and a play area for the kids there also.
Remember to take some food for the ducks if you go!

Pleasant local park a few minutes from Pinner High Street and PinnerTube station. The park used to be the gardens of West House, now the park cafe and delightful Heath Robinson museum. The museum has a permanent exhibition about Heath Robinson and changing displays of other artists - with a focus on poster art and illustration. The cafe is very popular and can get busy even during the week, and has a nice range of home made cakes. The planting in the park includes a rockery, lake in front of the cafe and mature and some unusual trees. It is also at the start of the Celandine trail, an attractive walk that follows the route of the River Pinn.

It’s Nice little park not very big in that area with car park next to it which is helpful so it’s worth a visit in a sunny day.

I visited the park after visiting the Heath Robinson Museum,I brought a packed lunch and sat on a park bench in front of the lake,delightful until the rain came!
