Ancient huge stupa that is resided in one of the world heritage sites.

こちらは遺跡群から離れており、ピィ市内にある。高さ４８ｍ、6～7世紀ぐらいに建てられたそうだ。こちらは周囲を歩いたり、基壇の上に上ることができる。ただ裸足にならないといけないので、私は近くから眺めるだけにしておいた。

The Pagoda was in the Pyay City. It was sacred and one of Pyay must-visit places. As the culture of Myanmar, you had to take off your shoes before getting to the Pagoda.

Observing its ancient value in terms of heritage, I truly appreciated the ancestors' legacy how well they lived and constructed such pagoda. It requires improvement in proper maintenance and attraction to pilgrims and donors, otherwise the place is easily overlooked.

The design of the pagoda was one of its kind. There were three level of steps; however, women were not allowed to go to the third (highest level).

This temple’s dome-shaped architecture is similar to that of Kaungmudaw Pagoda in Sagaing, Mandalay. It is smaller but however more ancient. It is right beside a busy street so you will definitely be able to find it easily. If you have a tight schedule, you may skip this place as there is nothing extraordinary about it.

i can feel the ancient sense very near by urban area . the stupa is awesome big & at the same time the architecture design is amazing because this stupa is build more than 2000 years ago .

Stopped at this Pagoda whilst doing a tour of Pyay , as in the picture is basically all that is there but when you consider its over 1000 years old it's something you should look at.

If you haven't seen a very large stupa, then you should have a walk around this one. It is quite imposing, although not well maintained.
